- I took her for a quick spin, cutting the steep banks on our property and getting used to the new layout. She runs STRONG and I'm really impressed with the enhanced performance so far!

Bradley, What a toy box. Wish I had that kind of room.
Thanks! You mean in the shop or outdoors?
That's one smooth running Ventrac!
Isn't it though! This thing is awesome!
You can hear the difference between Gertrude and then the new tractor. MORE POWER
I think so
So awesome!
Yeah, it sure is!
Great video. Wish I was younger with all the new features and products coming from ventrac
You're only as old as you feel. I'm old! 🤣
The hydro’s just seem miles better than the 4500. Would love to see how it runs with the contour deck as that’s what I use at work primarily! Great content 🙏🏻
Thanks! I had considered the Contour Deck but has so many moving parts and wear items. IF I do ever get one, it would only be used to mow my hilly property at home
It seems like you have an excellent property to use the boom mower on. You should get Arron Graver to bring you one to do a demo video. A win/win proposition. lol
That's something you need to ask Ventrac about. If enough of my fans want something, and let Ventrac know about it, then it just might happen...
My uneducated guess is what you are feeling is mainly the upgraded hydraulic system of the 4520's over the 4500's rather than an engine performance difference, but I've only ever run a 4520P so can't say for sure.
Ventrac says that the new Danfoss is more efficient and actually increases net engine performance. I still can't see how an engine that's rated for 32.5HP at 3,200 rpm on a 4500Z is still 32.5HP at 3,600 on 4520N
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 See if Ventrac will let you borrow a 4520z and compare the two to see if one is more powerful than the other.
@@ryanroberts7771 I have a friend across town that runs a performance shop. He has a dyno and I thought about taking the N to see what the numbers are. That would make a pretty awesome video I think
Congrats my Infantry Brother. Maybe next year for me (July 2024 the moon n stars will be aligned correctly). When is the name going to be decided/announced? Sorry if I missed something on that. I enjoy your videos.
Reagan, I always love hearing from Blue Cord Brothers! When did you go through? Our family has decided a name and will be announced in an upcoming video. The graphic decals are being designed at this moment!
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 1989-2017. My first 17 years as a tanker primarily then Infantry. Camp Casey in 1991-92. Blue Cord in 1993 so I was a tanking infantry dude ha-ha.
I wish I could hook up a deck that quick. I end up pushing it around the yard for 10 minutes😀
Don't be too sad, there was an edit there, so it took longer. That being said I have no doubt he still did it faster than either you or me could have! 😂
Yes, I did splice that😉 Nobody wants to see me get sidetracked, walk off the screen for a minute or two, and then come back 🤣 Gotta keep the video moving. Regardless, you're way better at captivating an audience than I am
Bradley, Congrats on new machine. What is the type and brand of the slope indicator you use on the Ventrac and how do you attach it? Thanks.
It's made by Gendrons and uses a simple bracket that clamps to the frame below the hood
@@bluecordprecisiongrading2504 Thanks.
Love my 4520z! Add weights help on side hills near the middle of machine?
They might help on a side slope but marginally. Where they really help is when I run attachments on the back and helps to keep the front end from getting too light
You have had the "N" for several months now and have probably visited all service points by now. Can you demonstrate any differences in access or procedure as compared to the 4500Z. For example, is the front drive shaft "U" joint still such a bugger? Is the coil support bracked still an interference point for removing the valve cover. Do the tiny heax screws securing the exhauset manifold still prone to self extract with heat cycles? Other???
I will probably make a video in the future
