There was a play where he dunked on someone and the person pushed him and got in his faced and JJ got in a fighting stance immediately and from that moment I was like oh.. dude can fight for real! Then the broadcasters gave the backstory of how he's a blackbelt and how no one really wants smoke with him 😂😂😂.

Couple stories about JJ.
1) he’s from Wyoming and I played in an invite pickup game in Fort Collins, Colorado, not far from Cheyenne. James was there-back when he was heavy. He blew by his man and I was on helpside. Let’s just say my 6’3” height with 6’6” wingspan and good vertical for an amateur was no match for JJ. He put his nuts on my head (pause) and dunked over me.
2) We played in a competitive tournament in Wyoming against his team. One of my teammates was an athletic freak with the nastiest temper I’ve ever seen. He and James and James’ family got into it and it was quite the tussle on the sideline.
He was certainly a new man physically after Miami, but he was well known in the WY/CO area for sure

I think some type of video where they show him breaking boards in a dojo somewhere, I knew then people don’t want that smoke! I just wish he could have been a little more consistent when he played for the Heat especially for the contract that they gave him! If the contract wasn’t as much, it would’ve been nice to have with the Heat in some compasity even if for discipline & mental focusing exercises! I noticed that the Pacers resigned JJ one day after that dust up in Milwaukee between Portis and Nesmith. Giannis went crazy after the game too. We'll see what happens today when they play. Hopefully the Pacers hang in there. Not that I think JJ will play (probably won't), but Portis will probably be less inclined to go maniacal with Johnson on the bench with Indiana.
