I was raised very poor and fully emerged in "poverty mentality". I was raised with my great grandparents who were depression survivors and very fugal to say the least. That was actually really beautiful, we didnt need a lot to be happy as a family. As I got older, I found myself living on and off the streets and all I wanted was a safe secure space to call my own, that no one can take away from me. Money has become a security blanket but more from the perspective of shelter and stabilty. Ive never felt money made me who I am as a person or validated my exsitence. I just means I never have to sleep in a greyhound bus station again.
I inherited a large sum during my second Saturn return and am working on my estate plan now to give it all away. Last year I created an endowment for music students in the name of my former partner who left me the money. I never felt so happy giving away more money than I was making in a year previous.
I had money... I lived a fake life.... I now have enough money... And the real life I live is amazing.... Thank you for your perspective....it was good confirmation.....
Pluto in my 8th house. My son at age five said to his friend, “whatever you do, don’t lie to her.” In my teaching career, children always seemed to know better than to lie to me. One boy stole from every teacher in the building except me. This seems hard to account for, but it seemed like something unspoken that was just part of my being.
I think people are secretive about money because they think it reflects their value. Society has programmed those with little to feel inferior and less significant than those who are wealthy. It would be wonderful to see this change! As Carlos Santana said “The new currency must be Love…”
Also, people are secretive about where their money comes from, especially if it is unearned ie an inheritance or investment interest, because our society pretends that money is all made through hard work, austerity and honest good deeds. In fact the opposite is true mostly. So...we just protect the truth and keep circulating this myth.

I have in the last 8 years spent a lot of money buying land and putting a Well and supporting a Maasai family of 20 in Africa. I had Jupiter enter my second house for the first time a few years ago when I got my first job, and the first thing I spent it on was a reading from Steve! I've always been of the mind that saving money is important, and hard work/school etc but in the last several days I've been sick from a cold and bought myself some lego Ninjago sets for under 100$ and they've really brought me back to my childhood! My mum always taught me that some people are materialistic and some people are material and by that I think she means some people understand that it's okay to spend money on yourself and enjoy the things you have and value, especially when they last you 20+ years!

Working with my hands and I love doing what I do. Yet not much self confidence. Potential is there, just lack of knowledge making money. Now I m over 70 and a bit tired. My friends, family are well off and sometimes I think, what's wrong with me. My spirit is a free spirit. If I would have lots of money, I think I wouldn't keep it for long. Thanks both. As usual such a great and informative conversation! Sadly I was shocked when you said about being lied to and the truth around money in the 8th. I was defrauded by my own son for hundreds of thousands of pounds through his gambling addiction over 10 years. Yet I only have Mars right on the cusp of the 8th / 9th house. No planets in the 8th at all. Hence having to still work full time at 65 instead of the well planned retirement I had saved for. The more I read my chart the less I seem to really know about me, well an others! I do know my biggest fear, having lost money through no fault of my own, I fear ever having enough now just like my Mum in my childhood too. I know you don't respond to these comments but one day I'll hopefully be able to afford a reading or even one of your courses. The total eclipse on 08/04 will be in literally just outside my 8th house by 1.5 degrees in the 7th but trining my Mercury and Saturn. So I'll hopefully just focus on the relationships I can now trust.
I have Saturn Rx 8H Aries and it’s brutal. I’ve had so much money stolen or withheld from me by government departments, clients, employers, etc., that I’ve had long periods of poverty and hardship. The actual conjunction will be a pretty tight trine to my 5th/6th Hs 22:51 CAP sun (depending on what system used), wide trine my CAP vertex, and sweet Lilith (empowerment) over in Virgo (very close to my true node) will also be in partile trine to my sun at same time. Combined with a few other notable exciting aspects, I have been getting very excited- almost anticipatory! Great video, thank you Sue and Steve. One of the issues facing our society is the ageing population. I worked for 30 years in Pensions and I have a nice nest egg, I just know that money will be needed for my care, medical treatments and practical help. The burden on the younger generation will continue to be huge, if I need an operation I want to pay for this myself even though I've contributed all my life. I know there will be no 'thank you' or appreciation. Luckily the government have closed the loopholes where people can exploit the system to have others pay for their care (not everyone agrees with me on that!)

I have also been a very frugal spender and believe I may have come from another life of famine or drought ! I've got Venus ♊ in the 2nd and Saturn ♐ retrograde in the 8th but 14 degrees apart from opposition. Money has never been my motivation as i believe we're all here to serve others which then brings its own rewards. A year ago, as Pluto entered Aquarius, i opened a studio promoting astrology and i call it my meraki - labour of love. I'm giving/spending more than I'm receiving/earning but it's not about the money.

Appreciate this deep and honest discussion. It’s been tricky to understand the energy of Scorpio in the 2nd. I tried so hard to be “financially independent” and ended up very ill and unable to work steadily. The cosmos forced me to accept help from “other people’s resources”. I felt guilt and shame at first, but now see it as a flow. I also noticed I make easier money when I engage in entrepreneurial activity.

I've read Jupiter and Neptune together can be a sign of a millionaire??? No idea? I have them together in my 3rd house? Thanks both. As usual such a great and informative conversation! Sadly I was shocked when you said about being lied to and the truth around money in the 8th. I was defrauded by my own son for hundreds of thousands of pounds through his gambling addiction over 10 years. Yet I only have Mars right on the cusp of the 8th / 9th house. No planets in the 8th at all. Hence having to still work full time at 65 instead of the well planned retirement I had saved for. The more I read my chart the less I seem to really know about me, well an others! I do know my biggest fear, having lost money through no fault of my own, I fear ever having enough now just like my Mum in my childhood too. I know you don't respond to these comments but one day I'll hopefully be able to afford a reading or even one of your courses. The total eclipse on 08/04 will be in literally just outside my 8th house by 1.5 degrees in the 7th but trining my Mercury and Saturn. So I'll hopefully just focus on the relationships I can now trust.

I have Saturn Rx 8H Aries and it’s brutal. I’ve had so much money stolen or withheld from me by government departments, clients, employers, etc., that I’ve had long periods of poverty and hardship. I’m heading into my second return and I hope to gods the tide finally turns in my favour.
Also, both my sons have a stellium in the 8H (born in the early 90s). They have a severe, controlling attitude, where if you dare to disagree with them they cut you off. I hope they become more trusting and open minded with age.

Nice discussion, thank you both! After decades of struggle and crisis (Pluto)I finally own a little house, still have lived very frugally by necessity. Poverty sucks but is a good teacher. One can still do a lot of good - rich OR poor!!! NOW SO excited- Jupiter Uranus conjunction will be within 2 degree orb of my midheaven. Their midpoint just hit my MC... The actual conjunction will be a pretty tight trine to my 5th/6th Hs 22:51 CAP sun (depending on what system used), wide trine my CAP vertex, and sweet Lilith (empowerment) over in Virgo (very close to my true node) will also be in partile trine to my sun at same time. Combined with a few other notable exciting aspects, I have been getting very excited- almost anticipatory! Been working in charitable/non-profit arena for environment and animals many years, and was in music a long time (fun as a career - JU, MA, SA, ME all 5th, then the eco stuff, as a passionate hobby, neither paid more than survival money but wow was it interesting) .Feel like I have a perfect skillset and ethics to be a philanthropist- Like I have been training my whole life for it- have prayed for the opportunity for years... I've got Jupiter in 2nd along with Mercury. I've always struggled a bit for money and lacked financial security. I love to spend it on nice things, but try to be responsible too. I do find at times when I'm really in a pickle, money seems to come to me somehow.

Great video, thank you Sue and Steve. One of the issues facing our society is the ageing population. I worked for 30 years in Pensions and I have a nice nest egg, I just know that money will be needed for my care, medical treatments and practical help. The burden on the younger generation will continue to be huge, if I need an operation I want to pay for this myself even though I've contributed all my life. I know there will be no 'thank you' or appreciation. Luckily the government have closed the loopholes where people can exploit the system to have others pay for their care (not everyone agrees with me on that!)
❤ I'm in conflict with my sibling about my elderly parents care and assets. My sibling is trying to take advantage of them financially while my parents are not aware what she's up to. I would love to have a reading. Better yet, learn from you.

I have also been a very frugal spender and believe I may have come from another life of famine or drought !

Ooh I so loved this talk on replay here in the Netherlands it I grew up poor in the Uk by tilbury docks .I listened to the video about magic en astrology just before this on replay fabulous ..😊…life in the fast lane of sun sag moon Pisces, cancer riding type and 1959 born…I used to be so scared of. It having enough money to feed my son and me in the early days …one day I read a book which said to receive more spend a little more on something g different like not the cheapest toilet paper but an upgrade for instance 😂or indeed an act of kindness to someone with a greater need . Things changed for me after that big time when I needed it 🎉boom out of the blue came the money . Through adversity and healing the money wound I have made a good life for myself thanks to money with a bug ❤thankyou so much for these videos I love them 💜
At the beginning of 8H protection year I somehow ended up with a job that worked with other people’s money and dealt with tax issues for my mother who’d passed away earlier that year. It was all so interesting.

Appreciate this deep and honest discussion. It’s been tricky to understand the energy of Scorpio in the 2nd. I tried so hard to be “financially independent” and ended up very ill and unable to work steadily. The cosmos forced me to accept help from “other people’s resources”. I felt guilt and shame at first, but now see it as a flow. I also noticed I make easier money when I engage in entrepreneurial activity.

Sue and Steve I Loved this conversation. Only one strange thing with Neptune in the 2 House. I will never be rich but always surrounded by the things I need. Thats why I never make a fush out of it. Trust the Univers. My Saturn is in the 12th House Steve. Saturn in the second House make that you handle your finances with care. Not on an emotional level like me with my square Moon on it. Lucky on the other hand Moon is standing in Capricorn meaning Saturn helps not expand to much. 😂😂😂 Depending on waxing or wanning Moon.
Money is energy. You don’t have to be worthy or do it for the right reasons. Study access consciousness. I did and started using their tools. Now I’m eating 8 times what I did before. You can find them all free. It’s not a plug. Most won’t choose this as it’s too easy 😅
I've read Jupiter and Neptune together can be a sign of a millionaire??? No idea? I have them together in my 3rd house? My Mars and Lilith in Libra in the 8th house. The Eclipse is conjunct in my 8th, with Mars also in October with both Lilith and Mars. I am waiting to see, what happens.
