People need to stop hating on Kavita. I think she's easy going and funny. If she was the stereotypical skinny, "hot" type of host I don't think she would get so much hate.
I don't go to Munchies to increase my "wank bank." I'm there to understand the culture from a layman (or woman's point of view) and I think Kavita (and Charlet when she did a guide for Scotland and Wales) achieved. Men who feel entitled that their hosts are hot and easy to look at and listen to are the worst kind of audience. They're not here for the food. They're here for their wish fulfillment: an undesirable, unattractive male coupled with an attractive slim female who happens to enjoy the same activities/cuisine they do. I actually wish VICE would employ more "real faces/real bodies" for their women correspondents because it's obvious their male audience is mired in some creepy fantasy land where they actually think these women find them attractive.

She's so excessive and never explains the flavours well, which makes her extremely annoying as a person and a host.
Give us back Charlet Duboc, she's the only who really nailed hosting the series.

I *love* that the one cocktail bar uses a lot of candles for lighting. Absolutely relaxing. Great to see how Berlin's not so uptight about alcohol. (Even though I rarely drink) Great episode Kavita.
You haters can say all you want about Kavita, but I think she's fun and I can't stop watching the "MUNCHIES Guide to Berlin" series because of that. Either way, she's waaaaaay better than any of the Vice hosts all put together herp derping.

Totally in love with Berlin, makes me want to go there even more. The host however, seems, stiff? I dunno. She doesn't seem to be very open, nor does she appear to get all the possible information about topics from the people she meets.
The tour of the spirit factory, very little actually learnt about such an interesting topic, which was a bit disappointing, I mean, what's the point of her visit if not to learn more? Did she just go to get drunk?
Sorry to make the comparison, but Charlotte from the Wales series was a much better host, sorry.

I have to agree with a lot of comments about Kavita. While I find her interactions with others natural and un-improvised, she really doesn't do much in terms of explaining locations, flavors, experiences, in a way that a host of this type of show should. I find myself moving back and forth in the video to catch more information about a location or about something from a shop sign or a street post. I also find myself having to google basic questions about the things she talks about, which despite being the focus and center of the episode, she invests very little effort explaining what they are, how to find them, etc. Overall such a shame to have a full series in Berlin that leaves a lot to be desired because the host is really busy eating and drinking for her own fun without sharing the experience with her audience who came here to learn about places to go, and things to eat and drink in Berlin

Berlin is such a ugly and poor-looking place. Im german and I went several times to this city and I just dont get it, why everybody is so obsessed with it and saying "Berlin is so cool and beautiful." No, its not. People take themselves so seriously and they want to be sooo individual. It's ridiculous.

The worst host I've seen so far in munchies, I just watched because I love Berlin.
disappointing to see a host have to speak english to a guest just for the guest to speak in german. I'm sure she didn't get a 100% of what the first beer guy had to say.
the thing is, she speaks perfectly german. i have no idea why she stays in english and all the germans stays in german with subs.
It's not about how she looks, I don't give a fuck about her looks.
I just need a more outgoing host with more energy, who can make me laugh and teach me something at the same time. This series was a bit boring even if I love Berlin and went there 3 times.
