He seems like such a wonderful person. I would be proud to call him my friend.
Exactly what I was thinking
You're amazing. I would be honored to be your friend. I think your friends from before weren't good friends because they would've stood by your side.
George, your video caught my attention as your brain injury and subsequent neurological "deficits" sound much like mine. I can't see much since my accidents and 6 brain surgeries for the treatment of two brain tumors and a brainstem cyst. "Friends" can depart quickly after brain injury, especially when you are stuck with an "invisible disability" they can't comprehend! Keep your chin up, things do get better! Alex
It's crazy how all his "friends" that he used to drink with and probably caused the crash just don't bother with him anymore It Puts a lot into perspective, I really hate alcohol I'm glad he's the support he does have now x
Having a supportive family certainly makes a difference! Thanks for watching Air-Jeana 😀
All his friends did visit at the start but as time went on, they all withered away. The people he drank with that night were just casual friends. (I went to school with him)
Just shows you who your real friends are. Even if they felt bad you should still try and be his friend. It’s just ridiculous.
He seems really sweet. Wish the best for him.
I'm a mum of a 35 year old son who was hit by a car hooning.my son was in 5 month coma.he arrived home after 2 years in brain rehab.now 5 years on.fighting for funding and exercise.no friends visit anymore.still can't talk much.no walking, has no extra help towards exercise or never had speech therapy.left side paralysed.mood swings.still in a nappie.no toilet training after arriving home.live in carers 24/7 in my son's private home.he sits in a broken wheel chair 10 hours a day.we are finding it hard for proper help and don't know where to turn.Niisq are hard to work with.we have no NDIS help at all.we're warn out.when I visit my son.he yells at me" kill me kill me."his girlfriend left with their son and dog and my son's money gone.no payout in sight yet solicitors won't work with us as I do the finances for my son's bills etc and his budget.HELP IS OUT THERE.we can't find any.
An old man held up his hand and showed me five fingers, and said
If you have this many good friends in a lifetime,
you'll be doin' real good.
That was a lotta years ago, and I now know what he meant.
Some folks call it "Ghosting"; you turn around ,and they've juss disappeared.
What a sweetheart
His girl friend and mates disappeared after the accident. What a surprise.
