  • British Midland Airways (now BMI) DC-9 -32 landing and taxying to the gate at Edinburgh Airport in the summer of 1995. This particular aircraft, G-ELDH, was in its last year of operation with British Midland and retired from service with the airline in 1996. It then went on to fly with ValuJet in the States.

It’s historical videos like this that you’d love to invent a Time Machine and go back to that era just to experience it all again

@MrFlashjet Thanks Flashjet, that's greatly appreciated! If only I could go back in time with an HD cam!!! I'm just transferring a few more old VHS tapes at the moment, so there'll be more old footage online soon!

Wish there was some footage of BMA landing at Liverpool Airport! I worked there for them from 88-92 until they pulled out-we had DC9s-wonder whatever happened to them?

Fantastic video. My dad flew DC9s for BM. Do you have any footage of BM Fokkers too? That'd be excellent.

One of the best colour schemes British Midland Airways had. I flew on the DC-9's to LBA; nice aircraft.
