Perfect footage!! Love the forward looking heads out view! Like I've said on similar UA-cam cockpit footage, a lot of these, including this one are far better than the Just Planes videos where they just seem to focus most of the time on the instrument panels and very little decent exposure on the 'visual flying' bit!!
ATC sounds like it's Dublin. Strange you would choose to add that to a flight to Edinburgh. Anyway nice video Captain thank you for sharing your flights with us.
+Duncan S Hi Duncan. Well thats right. It was just to have a litle atc chatter in the background. Nice noticed. I couldnt find anything from EDI, and my own Atc recording from the cockpit, was not that good unfortunately. 🛫 🌞 🛬
+Benedict Raikes Hi Benedict. Thank you for your input. Well, a couple of weeks since I have been over there. I think I have a flight here in october actually. 🛫🌞🛬
+gee davey Hi Gee, and thank you very much. Glad you like the video. I am trying to have a litle variation in my videos, and I think this is actually ok. 🛫🌞🛬
The “gas plant” at 3:20 is called Mossmorran, a local petrochemical plant. A source of many problems in the local area. If you google Mossmorran Flaring, you will get an idea of some of what goes on when there are issues a the plant
Hi Milton. Flying every day you sometimes fly manually and other times go full automatically. So believe me, we are training our manual skills almost every day as well :) thx for the comment and sharing of the video. facebook.com/simavihd/
The island's name is of disputed etymology, but is possibly of Old Norse origin, meaning "island of seagulls". Alternatively, is a Gaelic origin from Magh meaning a plain
Not the Isle of May, it’s Inchkeith. The Isle of May is further along near Anstruther, whereas Inchkeith is near Kirkcaldy, Kinghorn and Burntisland which you fly over :)
Another excellent video - I really liked the way the sun was shining through a gap in the clouds on to the airport! Thanks for posting.
You hit it lucky with the weather on this one. The photography is, in a word, stunning! Cameras LOVE cloudy days. Well done. Thank you very much.
Brilliant video mate. The name of that island is Inchkeith just before you turn on to final. Superb views, thanks very much for sharing this. Liked :)
at 6.15 into the approach i notice the sun is pointing directly unto the runway!
Really nice. Love those moments 🤗

OH S..T IT WAS REAL. EXCELLENT VIDEO. WITH THE HIGH QUALITY OF SIMS YOU CAN'T MAKE OUT ANYMORE
Is that Craig Wilson flying
Craig who?
A320? 321?
I hate planes calling me names during landing :)
Good one. I thought of that to. 😂😂😂
where is the pleasure of flying if the pilot turn off auto pilot just 5 seconds before landing, ? there was no wind and the weather good

The Island is the Isle of May, great day for video ;~)
+braveheart1846 Isle of May... Great name. How does a name like this come up?
The island's name is of disputed etymology, but is possibly of Old Norse origin, meaning "island of seagulls". Alternatively, is a Gaelic origin from Magh meaning a plain
+braveheart1846 very nice to know. The island of seagulls, sounds logically 😄 facebook.com/simavihd/
