    Why is the front door so out of alignment. Any sign of deferred maintenance on these cars can result in very hefty repair bills. A twenty thousand annual running cost is not unusual on a good example. A full mile of tubing for the hydraulic system, under high pressure, and fifty years old is a sobering thought. A purchase for the brave.

    As finer moving in a forward and reversing direction as you'll ever see.

    How much does one of these cost?

    • @u2dva
      @u2dva 6 років тому

      From $5,000 up to $50,000, depending on condition and mileage.

      $50,000 for one in need of a major restoration, and this car happens to be one of the most complicated cars ever made. So, you're better off buying one that has been properly restored. Anyway, $150,000 is a reasonable price for one in good working order.

      And of course, usually they are auctioned, so it depends how crazily someone wants it.
