A great remaking of the original strategy game for the Amiga 500 on the US civil war, now including FPS elements.

I dont think I can approve of a remake of train/fort minigames that do not include uppercutting a man into stratosphere

Original game on Amiga 500 was funny, playful and it icluded great sound design. I don't see any of that in the remake.

The original game on the Amiga is nostalgia.
Looks very modern, and by modern, I mean shit. The constant camera pan and zoom is making me woozy....

As someone who played the shit out of the original on my Amiga, I can see where the complaints are coming from. It just feels so soulless. No quirky animations the the music got replaced by boring run of the mill music. Where's the awesesome train score? At least the 1st person segments seem pretty cool, even if janky.
@@vittekantilles4178 yeah, if it wasn't for the fps parts it would be quite bad. It's the Mexican music and grenade I missed the most.
I think, not sure if it was for pc too, that the battle maps were point and click originally and that the fps part was more a whackamole type of game. Not sure if that was just for console or PC too when it released.
slightly better than original, imo. but the map has too few territories which makes it too simple, and controls suck of course. Imperial Glory on PC was nice from 2005. similar but much better game.

Remake looks terrible, shame
It's fun to play. FPS saves it.

Saddly i missing the attack Animation ( pictures) ect.in the neuwer games! Its still missing there...and the shooter pasages (forts, trains) sucks , because, aiming and shooting feels really stupid...and the battles are to fast..🤔
