  • To answer many questions from my Field dressing video with Butt Out tool, this is how I remove a bladder from a deer while field dressing it. Check out the first video field dressing a deer below.
This also is not the only way, there are many methods, and everyone has their own way, this is what works best for me.

I chuck it in cold water and bleed them out some. Debone it and pack it out sometime. To me getting the meat chilled is paramount. But then I am not as north as you.

Good explanation 👍. I got a bear license this year. I own a decent size piece of land, but rarely see bear here, thinking of trying public land one county over from me here in PA. Do you hunt them much, any advice? Thanks.

My father took the state record Bear we shot many over the years. Usually opening day hunt the feed sources like oak ridges once the ppl start walking after that look for heavy cover

Gut it on the ground with the hide on. Then skin with the fancy rope rig. I use a truck bed door.

@@paparomesoutdoors711I am dead tired Big Daddy. I practice deboneing deer on that door for when I get one in Shawnee as I wanna pack just the meat out. I will skin it on the ground and use hide like a tarp.. I like how you tied this deer up. I get meat cold and soak it in water a few days before packaging. I use cooler with water and ice blocks. Thanks for sharing your techniques.

@@Dutch.1722 I agree with you I’ll have a video coming out I bone most my deer out zipped up the back and use that as a tarp to lay the meat on or in cheese cloth. I found I get less fur if I hang it and work the skin off this way first and makes for easier time to process it at home later . Thanks for checking it out be well
