I was raised in Georgia. This song came out in 1973...Texas has been home since then...but good memories. Impressed you know this song. Thanks for sharing.
Megageil , ich hab die letzten 3 Jahre nicht mehr so eine geile Scheibe gehört 👍👍👍👍
Two beautiful girls, two perfect voices and a beautiful song! Awesome!
You know that little bit of magic we as musicians spend our lives trying to find? ....there's a bit, right there! excellent!
"Cant You See" The Marshall Tucker Band Ah! This song got me through some hard cold lonely nights when I was in the USAF in Plattsburgh New York,1975 ‐1979, with a glass of bourbon and some ice. I watched this video 3 times. One of what I consider to be one of the greatest southern rock songs ever written by one of the worlds up and coming rock Guitarists from France Laura Cox. I love all her videos. She plays "GIMME SHELTER" as good if not better than the Rolling Stones! She handles the Dobro and the slide technique like we drive our cars. Second Nature. si magnifique!!
I've read in the french magazine " guitare et claviers " of march 2017 that the father of her grand pa was a certain captain Lloyd Cox of the 506th parachute infantry regiment on D. day under the command of Lt Col. William L. Turner (K.I.A the 7th june ).
The two of them are simply fantastic. Great song by Marshall Tucker, great performance and interpretation by the two girls. Congratulations!
There is an comment by Phil Mann for the Marshall Tucker version of this song and I'd like to share it with you.
He wrote:
"Other men have outwitted me, they've bested me in business, they've smashed my nose and bloodied my lips. But only women have ever inflicted any real pain."
So true...
@Laura & Gaelle: A fantastic performance, thank you for sharing that one with us!
And yes, we are still awaiting your concert here in Germany ;-)
One of the best covers I ever heard
Moi je pense qu'une collaboration à long terme ce serait vachement bien et on profiterai encore plus du talent de Laura en tant que lead guitariste. Bises les filles.
I am not worthy, I am not worthy!! Simply beautiful music from two beautiful women!
Real Talent ! TAKE It To The Top ! You Have Earned It !

Juste... sublime ! Vos deux voix s’harmonisent à la perfection. Les larmes aux yeux... donc touché ! Bravo
Laura and Gaelle, this is a beautiful version. It reminds me of the texture and intensity that I heard when I saw Marshall Tucker do it in 1976 when Toy Caldwell was alive. Merci Beaucoup!
This is more than beautiful. You two play and sing so well together. Laura, I love your slide resonator playing so much, you definitely got the right feel for it.

Laura, you are wonderful as always. Your friend, Gaelle, has a great voice. Powerful and sensitive. I could tell you love that song. You made it your own.
ça fait plaisir de voir des françaises nous faire de l'aussi bonne musique. Et quelles voix. des frissons....
That’s a great new twist on one of my favorites. It’s rare to hear anything more added to what Toy Caldwell could do. Glad I found this. 👍
Right!!! Saw the Caldwells many times in the 70s, mostly with Charlie Daniel's as the warmup band!!!! Wow, We miss them all now!!!!!!
I had my niece learn this on the flute so we could play it together!!!!
Yes
Magnifique ! J'en ai des frissons. 😊
It still amazes me how you all sound American when you sing. That resonator sound was spot on!
bcbloc02
That's right. I know she's French but it sounds like the French quarter of Memphis.
Exactly
She's half american

Beautiful duet. A very beautiful song in two voices and an excellent guitar playing.
Thinking by the number of views after the first day, Laura Cox is definitely one of the tube's guitar heroes.
