    Keep it up! Setting clear expectations is saving me from unneccessary headaches! Most important tip I've learned: document the process!

    How did you guys share the job at the beginning? Or even now? Who does what between you two to make the business grow?

    What do you do when a customer claims a cleaner damaged something? Do people running the business need to learn about chemicals for cleaning the business? Thank you so much.

    Great video! Thanks. But what about the cleaning area (residential, commercial, short term rental, etc ..) what area should one focus on in the beginning? I thought of short term rental cleaning since not a lot of people doing it. What's your thoughts?

      It depends on the customers, sometimes you can have them waive it.

    Great video. The problem I have right now is that my foundation is all set to start taking and bidding on jobs but I will be using w2 employees and I’m not sure how to go about hiring an employee before actually having any work to schedule them.

    • @JohnnySergio
      @JohnnySergio  3 місяці тому +1

      If you are using the W2 model you'll usually need to do the work yourself first or hire someone part time. That's why we are fans of the independent contractor model instead

    Hey guys in regards to google local service ads how do you expand your business to an area where you can’t register that address?

      Hey there, if it’s within the same state you should be able to just add the zip codes you want to target.

    Hey guys. How do u verify that your cleaner actually did the cleaning job? They could lie and said they did a job and not do it.

    Im interested in getting the course, but cant get my head around how the contractors will be rocking up in their own branding trucks and shirts and not yours. And also what stops the contractor from stealing the client? how does this model work with this?

    • @JohnnySergio
      @JohnnySergio  Місяць тому

      Hey Ryan, our contractors wear plan clothes with no branding. If you want them to wear your branded apparel then there is a loophole where you can pay them an advertising fee to do so. As for keeping your contractors from stealing clients it's all about properly vetting them and sending them on a test clean before bringing them on the team. We have all the solutions to these problems and they work.

    What about bonding and insurance. You higher contract cleaners so they need 1099. But who has liability for accidents and theft. I would assume company LLC needs insurance and the 1099 cleaners need to carry insurance as well.
    What makes your cleaners not take your customers? You hire cleaners who have their own business. What makes them not cut you out and deal with the client directly and push out the middleman AKA your LLC

    • @JohnnySergio
      @JohnnySergio  5 місяців тому +2

      Good questions!
      That's correct. The contractor has insurance and you yourself have business insurance. Since you are technically a referral agency then the accidents would be covered by the contractor.
      To avoid losing customers to your contractors you just have to hire good contractors and vet them properly. You make expectations very clear. Also, In the hiring process you perform a test clean where you send the cleaner to a friend or family member's home for a cleaning. You have the friend ask the cleaner after the cleaning how to book another cleaning and if they promote their own business then you know not to hire them.

    How the hell do you get away with 60% gross profit using contractors. I need to get there lol.
    Cant charge too high bc otherwise people tell me to screw off. How can you justify higher than market prices to potential clients?

    • @JohnnySergio
      @JohnnySergio  3 місяці тому

      Our goal is to pay cleaners $25-$35 per hour. It's easier to start off doing a 50/50 split but once you have a solid reputation and more work you can charge higher prices. It requires some sales skills but the biggest factor is a 5 star reputation.

    If the subcontractors has own their own business why would they need you when they acquire their own customer? If they are having a hard time acquiring customers, won’t you have that same problem?
