    Is the cornflakes missing the bowl a Pinter thing or Friedkin thing... or Tarantino? Lol

    Wow! Dandy Nichols! I've never seen her in anything but Britcoms of that period.

    I had no idea William Friedkin had directed an Amicus Production.

    This is more prevalent now, with sjw, and cancel culture, if you're different and have your own opinion, then this is what happens, all along the line. Do as you're told. Pinter and friedkin are at there best.

    Far prefer the casting of Dandy Nicholls to Joan Plowright.

    appalling film with laughably schizo characters

    • @johnlawrence2757
      @johnlawrence2757 3 роки тому

      It’s actually an appallingly inadequate production. The director has no idea what the play is about, there’s been little or no rehearsal, so the cast haven’t even begun to come to grips with their characters.
      But Moultrie Kelsall had a lovely little coffee shop in Edinburgh where you could get a decent cappuccino and a nice scone.
      Hardly surprising that the director went on to make The Excorcist
