This is more prevalent now, with sjw, and cancel culture, if you're different and have your own opinion, then this is what happens, all along the line. Do as you're told. Pinter and friedkin are at there best.
It’s actually an appallingly inadequate production. The director has no idea what the play is about, there’s been little or no rehearsal, so the cast haven’t even begun to come to grips with their characters. But Moultrie Kelsall had a lovely little coffee shop in Edinburgh where you could get a decent cappuccino and a nice scone. Hardly surprising that the director went on to make The Excorcist
@@gregfox336 Which is ironic isn't it - because you are being forced to confirm (because luvvie movie critics adored it) Wake up , free yourself from the BS
Mr Javier, I've loved this play since I was 15, growing up on Merseyside, I can appreciate brilliance when I see it luvvies be damned, you don't get it because intelligence.
Absolutely excellent film extremely unique a masterpiece
Pinter deserves the Nobel Prize just for these 14 minutes.

And tonight. I hope it's good.
This is the best version of this excellent play
Ten out of ten
@@cormaccollins4000 Its excellent
Nice opening shot!
Robert Shaw, recently watched him in Pinter's, The Caretaker. So good
Is the cornflakes missing the bowl a Pinter thing or Friedkin thing... or Tarantino? Lol
Wow! Dandy Nichols! I've never seen her in anything but Britcoms of that period.
She does a bloody good job as well
This really is a measure of how subtly great she was.
More!
She's got that Edith Bunker double-chin down pat!
I had no idea William Friedkin had directed an Amicus Production.
Anymore? I'd really like to see the film before I buy it, looks brilliant though.
It is brilliant. The whole thing is on UA-cam.
It's on Talking pictures tonight. 13.11.19

What the hell are you talking about. . ?
Gren is that you mate?
Far prefer the casting of Dandy Nicholls to Joan Plowright.
appalling film with laughably schizo characters
