With respect to the wind issue, I think manufacturers have to balance Winter and Summer riding comfort. I remember going from an Mt07 to a Tracer 900. Forgive me, but I started squidding way more on the Tracer just to get some more airflow over my body in the heat. Love bikes though. Cars are just appliances for me since I bought my first bike.
Picked up my 2022 GT over the weekend. Very nice bike. Came from 5 years from riding a 2018 DCT Goldwing. Two completely different bikes. Getting back to using a clutch again is difficult, but manageable. Much lighter in weight than the GW. Ordered a bunch of farkle parts to make it more comfy. I will miss the DCT transmission, but at least I have quick shifter.
Hello…. If you don’t mind my asking, why the switch to the GT from the GW? I’m shopping both right now. I’m 6’3”, 260 lbs, and want a daily driver (also split lanes) + occasionally go two up with my wife (5’8”). Would you recommend the GT with a tour pack or the GW? Thank you
I have a GW DCT, bagger with Shad top box, lovely bike, comfy, quite quick in sports mode. I have just bought a 2023 K1600 SE. I spent a day on one love the engine. If you want abut more versatility and sporty nature go for the GT. if you just want a easy cruiser the GW. I still have the GW but will probably go, the trouble is every time I ride it I don’t want to sell it. They are different bikes. GT more of a sports tourer. I am 6.3 and 210 pounds. The GT engine is like with a quick shift is similar to a DCT, it pulls in any gear. I didn’t find it any issue, if anything you have a bit more control when your pushing it
I was looking at this bike as a possible replacement of my BMW 1250 RT, but As much as I like the six cilindre engine, the power and the sound it makes, it’s a significant upgrade in price and has no adaptive cruise control, the induction charge place does not accommodate my iPhone 14 Pro Max, and the weight compared to my RT is way higher (although it has a reverse gear). Humm, I start thinking, maybe it’s better to wait, probably they will input that in a posterior iteration of the bike. But man, that engine is a beast! Nice video . Thanks! 👌🏻
One of the most beautiful motorcycles that I’ve laid my eyes on, honestly.
RevIt Sand Urban. I had one of those. Nice jacket!
I would love to have one of those, that is a sweet looking ride. Mile muncher. If I lived where I could ride all year, it’d be my daily driver.

I was about to ask exactly the same question but it seems like a pointless exercise. Shame.@@roberthaven8094

Nice ultimate riding machine

I've heard great things about the 1250!

I’m thinking about this for a commute bike. Would be better than my Indian pursuit I think just to rack up miles on this
I have to ride 1500 miles. K1600GT or Honda Gold Wing?
Gen 3 Suzuki Hayabusa.
I have both. Depending where the 1500 was, straight road GW more of a twisty route GT for the fun factor.
