Nice video and review, I like your music too! My parents had one of those stereo a/v systems back in the 90's, but it's been stored in the basement for over a decade as there is no space for it anymore. Well, about a year ago, I decided to salvage the speakers from the system. I bought a new amplifier off of Amazon, and have been using them for the past year for listening to music and watching movies. Despite being at least 25 years old, they are some of the best speakers I've ever heard!

Thank you for this video, please allow me to ask, while playing the song, do you have a subwoofer connected playing along with the LU43PW speaker or is the speaker playing alone?

Why didn't you buy the Dual Electronics LU63PB 3-Way 6 1/2 in h speakers. They have more bass. Down to 60Hz

I have those same dual speakers and they are AMAZING!

Their sound is as much as you pay for them. The LU53 sound much better, and the LU63 are just a bit better than the LU53. These are budget friendly speakers so don’t expect Bose level at rhat price point.

@@hotelpv yup, good bang for your buck but you get what you pay for. Exceeded my expectations when I bought them. I don’t remember leaving this comment 3 years ago, I probably wouldn’t say it quite like that now, but they held up good and all 4 still work after being mounted on a soffit for 3 years in the southern weather. Audio quality is still good and definitely acceptable for a patio.

@@SafetySecurityAlert you are not considering anything a bit newer or with more watt output

I know its been a minute since you posted but the in walls have to mounted in the wall to perform. Most speakers free air wont sound great. Also Dual is not great. Get a decent pair of PA's like line arrays and for performing they will be better. The in walls are more for watching movies.

You should get a relay so you can do priority audio/audio cutoff.

It doesn’t really make much sense to review one in wall side speaker to test its music capabilities they are really meant to be used as a solo speaker. You should have used the 5 inch in wall center speaker from micca in my opinion.

The large one needs an enclosure to really get the bass.

LU53 are way much better! Many people review them so badly. They want Klipsch performance for 70 dollars! Forget it!
