Please start with a guide on Brigitte. I can play support pretty well, but Brig is really hard for me, and I’m currently in Diamond rank. Could you explain when I should pick Brigitte? Should I choose her as a counter-pick, or is it better to pick her because she synergizes well with my tank?

Mostly when she synergizes with your tank... also remember brig is still a support, so play in the back with the other support and just make sure you hit your flail to keep your inspire up... shes mostly positioning and really good if your dps arent protecting you and your other support, brig protects well. Most important things for brig is keep inspire up (it lasts 6 seconds after you do any damage so flail shots should always keep it up), and DONT DIE
watch hollyshiftkid. he's the best brig worldwide, and covers ALL of her basic guides, techs (brig has almost the same amount as mercy, infinite), advanced guides, matchups, and etc. he will DEFINETLY help you out, and yeah, its worth it. brig is insane.
Don't die is the best advice. Play cover, near your tank, and do not be aggressive. If there's an enemy Dva, a counterpick Brig is almost always a good choice (protect whoever she's diving!)
Never use shield bash offensive and constantly do damage and never hold of whipshot
Can you add chapters for each character? I know it’s a lot of work but I think it would really make this whole video feel really good

And I remember when they changed Mauga's E then people freaked out mad cus Mauga could kill a nano'd sentry mode Bastion within Mauga's cardiac overdrive duration lmao. They jumped the hate train calling Mauga OP when in reality, dude's so bad that barely anyone plays him after that change. Gamers will never learn about jumping too early to their illogical conclusion though.

The average gamer doesn’t realize a patch has to be grinded out to understand the full potential of the changes. I was in comment sections arguing day and night that Mauga was gonna be bad, and they all swore he’d be meta. I play the hell out of Mauga, and you can work around his counter picks but it’s a lot more effort than just picking a better tank
The cardiac change the longer it settles and I see it getting played actually does help him quite a bit but people don't understand how to maximize it's potential even I didn't till like a week ago
The actual change that hurt mauga so badly was the armor change and crit reduction
Yeah now he can eat like a mag extra from soldier or tracer but he got a 20% damage nerf vs any tank with armor on top of crit reduction so if your in their face and headshotting a ton you lost a ton of damage there too.
I think he really just needs like 5% on his passive to help tank better outside of cardiac and maybe .5 on his damage to help him actually hurt armor and not get his damage out healed
@@sebastianrodriguez8992 Yeah 5 percent on his passive would be nice, if they buff him, it should be very very small, or no buffs at all tbh. As much as I love him, his design is inherently flawed in this format, so it is better he remains niche than a meta choice.
Ramatta at the bottom B below hog and rein is insanely wrong. He’s good against literally every tank

@@requix37 if a zarya is being problematic id rather gonram than rein, and when ive been the problematic zarya its like a 60/40 that theyll pull ram before rein
Ramattra thrives in none of the things he's good at. He's mid at brawl and mid at poke. Kind of like a jack of all trades but master of none. For example: a good rein can completely body a ram if he knows how to wait out his cooldowns. A good ram can completely body a rein if he knows how to play around a rein's effective range. Overall, he can't necessarily "counter" any tank. He can easily shred or be shredded depending on how smart either player is.
@@sagechanged7923 But thats the entire point there: He can do well in every situation just not the best, but he doesn't need to be the best. If he has an option to deal reliably with every tank in the game, that would make him an insanely good pick because youre not forced to swap

Recently 3 stacked with 2 other randoms with mei jq and Lucio and we absolutely crushed the enemy’s almost every game, was super fun
As a GM Hanzo main, I don't think not being able to one-shot 300 HP heroes is a big deal. It would be nice to be able to HS+melee them though.
Cass just has too much HP and trash damage fall-off. I would buff his fall-off and move him into the 250 HP club.
The fire rate nerf was completely unnecessary. He already would have had to full charge arrows to kill standard HP targets, while before S9 we would only charge to less than 90% to optimize.
Revert the draw speed nerf, revert to 250 HP or buff the range of Lunge, nerf Storm Arrows count to 4.
the draw speed change messed up my aim tbh. Because now his move speed when drawing is gradually slower for longer. Feels terrible
How are you making it work in GM?
After the rework I fell from m5 to mid diamond because his stupid bow takes so long to draw now I peek out and its so easy to shoot me as like an ashe, and if that doesnt happen I’m getting dove constantly
@@HowCouldYouu For me, not my aim so much, but my play-style. I'm a very brawly Hanzo, and with this draw speed you can't really take risks, so that play-style was nuked. I see it as an issue of the devs not understanding the hero. They wanted more active/risky play-styles, but failed to realize that Hanzo players were not shooting things at Widow range. Good Hanzo players were already playing much more risky.
Preach brother, he's the definition of a high skill low reward hero. His mobility is below average thanks to speed creep so everything can jump him with ease and thanks to the nerfs to primary it's even more likely you just die before getting a chance to defend yourself. All the complaints about rng shots from a mile away destroyed the fun close to mid range play style Hanzo player's actually enjoy. Why the only aspect of his kit they seem to keep strong is spam arrow alludes me when it's objectively the most toxic part of his kit. @@afterthought9538
As a gm/t500 hanzo main as well I feel like at least 275 headshot damage is fair , cass should not be this hard to kill

Honestly, I don't find tier lists very useful since it's so dependent on skill level and everything else, but I like your content so I'm watching this anyway. :) I'd love to see a guide on Sigma because I don't understand him and often have trouble dealing with him. Moira would be cool too, I like playing her but don't feel like I'm getting as much as I could be out of her. I don't feel comfortable in my decision-making as Moira. Thanks!
sigma is pretty easy.
use the shield as a personal barrier. team will rally behind you. use your succ when the shield breaks to absorb incoming damage (especially spam) which gives you lots of overshield. when your shield breaks, and you've used your succ, use natural cover (corners) and spam your primary fire by bouncing it off the level geometry. if someone pushes you (think rhein charge), use rock to stun and cancel.
rinse and repeat.

@@tjk_9000not just a personal barrier, use it to support your a team, your not playing as sombra where you run of by your self, I find him good for countering mauga as well because his black hole sucks in all his bullets and turns it into health

In regards to Sigma what are "these maps"? I'm assuming Circuit , Havana, Junktown. What else?
Those are the main three but basically any map or parts of maps with longer sightlines and a singular enemy direction (low flanks or low angles)

Bastion Metas are one of the most unhealthy for the game him being on C tier is a good thing because it makes him a niche pick in certain situations... you shouldnt be able to dominate the game on a character that is so easy to play in comparison to skill based heros lol

@Frozoken I'd argue it's the most underrated hit scan primary fire in the game. Plus they recently made it even more accurate.
Reinhardt or Winston guide would be fire, Idk how to improve more then where I am right now with them
Moira guide, I’m on the cusp of getting out of gold but can’t quite get there as a Moira main
As she's one of the easiest characters in the game it's unlikely he would make a Moira guide. Maybe Bap or Juno guide would make more sense.

Went from plat to diamond currently while basically one tricking cass and mixing in widow here and there (was diamond in OW1 but recently picked the game back up so got placed out). His damage falloff is super annoying though, just gotta play uncomfortably close.

The meta this season has to be one of the top 3 more boring metas I've played. Dva and Juno in every single match is making the game feel beyond stale atp

I think I hate seeing someone forcing Illari as much as I do Mercy. Illari has her place in poke maps and with bunker comps. But when the entire team is playing rush or dive it's like stop forcing it. Pylon gets damn near no value in those situations

I know you said you don’t think he’s a good character to main but I do main him and I feel like I could just be doing better with the character. I’m not sure where I’m falling short with him but I just wish I could do better with him.
Mercy is the worst support right now.
It’s genuinely always been hard to hit shots with Hanzo. I’m not sure where the misconception that he had logs for arrows came from? But he is consistently throughout the majority of overwatch up until season nine has been tied with Doomfist for the smallest projectile size in the entire game, then I think he had the second smallest projectile size even with the size increase but now because they didn’t revert anybody else back to normal now he has the smallest projectile size again
Torb isn't really reliant on the turret, there is many ways to use it other than as a dmg tool. Be it to protect objetive/alarm, decoy or just dmg. He's very dependant on your own knowledge and his dmg can be very high, he can shred tanks with shot gun, he can fight at medium and long distance. He can hold corners, can make it difficult for enemies to comeout through doors too because of how his cheetos work. He is insanely flexible in general and very good at area control/denial. Essentially a off tank too because of how meaty he is.
He's very nice imo. The only thing that is really particularly dangerous is snipers. He really wants to know the map well thou

As a DPS I just do my own thing. Shoot at who needs to be shot at. On support I have to heal, damage, and worry about my tank and DPS feeding

If Ana is being played in GM, 90% of the time there's a Brig. I see a lot of Juno and Brig too. If Dive is being played, Brig is being played most of the time.
Ram too low.
He can adapt his play style to hold up reasonably well against any other tank making it a great tank to master and main. The key is to get really good with his poke dmg to out range certain heroes the poke is actually broken if you are accurate with it. Unfortunately most rams get sloppy with the poke they just want to punch. But also with punch you have to make it a pride thing to hit every punch. Hyper focus and don’t miss a single one if you can. It’s not too hard with a little extra focus. Even soaking them all into the enemy tank will pressure him hard. You’ll notice the dps increase immediately by refusing to miss that single punch you always get lazy with.
Top of A tier MINIMUM.

I dont feel identified with any of what this guy is saying, the game is so different at silver and gold.
Silver and gold are all about counterpicks and not if the character is good or not so tier lists like this don’t apply too much to those ranks. Also a lot of the tank stuff is just blatantly wrong in this video

@@requix37 counterpicking in those ranks is not really a great advise. You don’t learn the heroes properly if you just use them in a counterpick situation. These players are not good so play what you want, do your thing and get good. No silver/gold player should be able to „counter“ you if you really want to get better at the game.
I think Mauga will outplay and perform every tank unless you have good supps cause imo the best way to counter Mauga is an anti and a Hog. You hook Mauga away from his team, anti him, and watch your team melt him. Maybe that doesnt work above low-diamond but I usually win the Hog/Mauga matchup when I have an Ana and i usually get rolled by a Mauga if i dont have Ana no matter what tank I play but im prob just cheeks at other tanks
If sigma is so map dependent why S tier? In that case I better see widow in S tier with how much map control she really can control
Cas Hinder should make it where the people it affects can’t use any abilities for 1 second so they aren’t fully cc’d but makes cas an actual threat up close like they want cas players to play

U missed the hero dynamics. Eg juno intro decreased phara. So junkrat n mei got indirectly buffed n hp drop made junkrat even better. In plat n diamond where most players r will notice this a lot.

The thing that made Reaper strong all of a sudden is the stars aligning to create a perfect meta for him to exist in. The character on his own is still absolute garbage and it will be immediately noticeable when the meta swaps out the characters who pocket him.

I play a lot of mauga and nothing kind of counters me. Not sigma, not ana, kind of dva but as I am in gold those players are not that good.
If I play him it is simply to run over the other tank. No swap is reliable defense matrix, Bubble, Sigmas suck that I don’t remember idc I’ll wait. Now his issue is he’s massive and if their whole team doesn’t want you to play you probably won’t.
You say those players aren't good, but you are those players. You're in gold, and thinking Mauga doesn't get countered speaks volumes.
@@TheSheff45 There are not taht good dvas in gold taht can perfectly matrig my healing ability. I am in gold just because I always get one useless bad throwing support or dps. That is real problem in low ranks and thats why there are couple of insane good players in there.
@@LosEnD thats a bad mindset. yeah bad teamates suck, but thats not whats holding you back. you need to focus on just improving your own aspects and gameplay and seeing what you could be doing better to help your team win. Obviously in the case of blatant throwers or DCs, thats different and out of your control. I only speak on this cause I was always the same way playing the blame game and it never gets you anywhere

Ok so lemme start with I hate Mauga and want him deleted but, Mauga IS overpowered the only reason he's not dominant is because I don't think anyone actually enjoys playing him, the only way to beat him is to keep his shots from hitting, the only things that actually beat him are DVA, because if hit shots are deleted so are his heals, and Ana for the anti heal, when a tank can survive things up to and including a nano bastion tank mode, he's overpowered
I've always had my best games with Ram. He's got good survivability, and his ult can help in a pinch in 3 v 1 situations that you would've lost had you not ulted
