How come love ball method wasn't mentioned? You keep a space free in your team, encounter the alpha to see it gender, run away. Then catch the opposite gender of it next to the alpha, reengage the alpha, lower it's hp and put it to sleep, swap out to the opposite gender, then love ball. I get it on first ball most times. Focus sash the gendered mon too in case the alpha wakes up after swap-in
@@xanarchynl it might take a little longer to set up but for someone like me who only has 1 and a half regions unlocked it's far far easier and more reliable. I have no pokemon over lv65, so every alpha I encounter can quite easily 1-shot each of my pokemon. I know from experience that love ball method is the easiest and cheapest method to pull off for players who have only just unlocked the GTL. For someone who can easily access a good breloom (which is always over lv41) or a soak smeargle the methods in the video might be a tad easier
at 8:55 you say if 1 of the stats reach -6 it buffs up the stats, thats not how it works for those. They even have there stats change as low as -3 and it seems to be random, the lower their stats are the more likely they are to flip them to positive but only seems to start around -3 from what ive seen. You also dont really need to use focus sash on spinda if you're running high speed like yours is, just get off the skill swap and then thats it.
Add super fang golbat and klutz trick swoobat. Trickster murkrow with haze for indignant. Assault vest if heal, lagging tail without heal so Breloom can spore/sub vs +6 speed
I use an Eviolite Defensive Golbat with SuperFang, Roost, Hypnosis and Haze. He's usally how I bring a defensive alfa to low HP, then I switch to a false swipper. If needed I safe swap for the Haze in case of indignant buff.
i would add a couple level 100 super fang pokemon (mon). good + attack nature (anything but - speed) or no stat nature. 20-25 + ivs (or at least high ivs on attack, speed, and hp). anyway super fang is used to cut a mon in haft. good for more tanker alpha mons or alpha mons that raise hp (excample: roost).

If the alpha has healing moves, a klutz trick assault vest mon can save a lot of frustration.

Because its hard to setup in comparison. requires some rng and cant be used on genderless mons.
I recommend this strat too. Doesn’t take that much more time imo and really reliable

I like your idea, but SuperFanger doesnt need high atack has the damge will alwyas be 50% of currrent HP.
