Let us know what you think below!
This video saved me $693. That's how much the body shop was going to charge me after some idiot clipped my mirror. I bought the whole mirror assembly off eBay for $47. Thanks, dude.
Awesome man, I'm glad you saved a ton! Thanks for watching! 🤟
What blows me away is that the standard mirrors do not fold in. My 1998 had mirrors that did, but not my 2010. Crazy !!
Your video makes life/removing my mirror, easy.
When my wife clipped the side of the garage with the passenger mirror while backing out I thought a meteorite hit my house! The sound vibrated into my bedroom! 😳
Once again, great video and thanks!
Wow sorry to hear that brother! I'm glad the video helped you replace yours! Thanks for watching! 🤟
Very helpful. If you ever remake this, it might be good mention that some trim packages have electric window and lock controls that need to be unplugged as well as door speakers. Thanks for helping save some money by doing this myself.
Absolutely man, thanks for watching and for leaving some feedback! 🙏
You are one of the 1% of content creator who goes straight to the point. I would watch your credit if you had one. Lol you are too spot on Sir!
Hey Eme Omeh, thank you very much! We appreciate the kind words and thank you very much for watching! 🤟
Thanks man. This is a nice, to-the-point video. I hate having to spend 10 minutes of BS. before the video every gets to the point.
Thanks for the kind words Phillip! We appreciate it! 🙏
I love how clear and quickly you explained it, thank you!
Thanks for watching Ray! 🤟
Nice. I did not think you needed to remove the entire door panel like I saw in other videos and yours confirmed that. Thanks !!
Anytime!
@@TrickShiftGarage Do you have any videos, or advice, on replacing the starter? That's my next project....oh joy !!
Unfortunately I do not, but it's on the agenda at some point.
@@TrickShiftGarage Oh if you own an F150 you can guarantee it's on the agenda !!
Hell yea thank you! My mirror was taken off by someone speeding. Easy repair with your help. Only thing is I lost one of the 11mm mirror bolts. I'll replace it later on
Awesome man! Glad you got it fixed. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and also for watching! 🤟
Thanks Guys! The replacement is easy, of course, but I'd have gotten really frustrated trying to figure out how to get to the mirror mounting screws. I probably still be looking for the way to remove the door panel, and would have definitely damaged it in the process!
Anytime Russ! Glad you found it helpful and thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! We appreciate it! 🤟
I have used your videos several times! I’m glad you’re doing these videos
Thanks! We appreciate the support and are glad these videos helped you!
If I knew how easy it is, I would have changed mine a year ago, thanks!
No problem man, thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! We appreciate it! 🤟
This video was very helpful I changed out both mirrors and worked great thanks!
I'm glad it helped Conway! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, we appreciate the support! 🤟
Thanks for the excellent video! You saved me quite a few headaches!
Hey thanks for watching and the kind words! We appreciate the support! 🤟
Thanks! I have one of those to do right now in my driveway. I didn’t see anything about the remote aiming, or built-in turn signal. It must be taken care of behind some of that cheap Ford plastic and I don’t have to do anything special beside the simple install. Thanks again.
Pretty simple install. Be sure to come back and let us know how it goes!
Thank you this video was a lifesaver
Anytime! Thanks for watching! 🤟
thanks, a great video, you make it look easy, we'll find out.
Let us know how it goes!
If the mirror is broken off you have to grab the ends of the bolts with pliers to hold them while removing the nuts with an open end wrench. And if you have manual windows you have to remove the cover on the handle to get to the 25 torx in the window crank.
Great information! Thanks for taking the time to comment! 🤟
Great video. Thanks.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment! 🤟
Thanks for making this video

Excellent.
Thanks for watching! 🤟
Thanks a lot
It really helped
Thank you Rene! I appreciate the kind words and I am glad it helped! 🤟
thank you
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment Levi! 🤟
Very informative, however...there are 7 bolts holding the door panel on my 2007 Ford F150.
Thanks for the information! I'll update the description.
I’m glad I didn’t file an insurance claim claim fix this for 70 bucks
Yea man, very easy to do!
Thank
Thanks for watching Jose! 🤟
Great video. Where did you get the mirror from?
Thanks! I got them from a company called "Yitamotor". You can find a link in the description that takes you to them on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
@@TrickShiftGarage I looked in the description. I didn’t see it. Perhaps I missed it? Can you post link here please?
I have a question. Is there a reason you did it with the window up in the beginning? Can I do this with the window down the entire time?
Absolutely you can! That would probably make it easier when removing and installing the new mirror so you can put your arm through to hold it. Great point! 👍
Please help!!! The video looks super easy and I can do it but I don’t have/know the correct model for the driver side mirror to buy! It looks the exact same as in the video and I have the same truck model but I don’t want to end up buying the wrong mirror. Please help!
Hello Heather! So here are the 2 different models of tow mirrors from the company I bought mine from. Hopefully this helps answer your question and I'm sorry it took so long to respond!
2004 - 2006 F150 Tow Mirrors - amzn.to/3jkDSQ7
2007 - 2014 F150 Tow Mirrors - amzn.to/3BxJnSf
Just got me a 14 F150 STX Super crew. The side mirrors have no lights. If I purchase side mirrors with the lights, is there a connector to connect to them?? Please help, I just got this truck and Im lost!
Hello Matt, I didn't have lights on my stock mirrors either but now I do. I have a 2013 STX. Ford has the wires for the mirror lights already built into the harness. So it's as easy as just plugging in your new mirrors and enjoy! No additional wiring needed.
But what if all u want to do is replace the actual mirror portion?
I'm not sure if these mirrors pop out or not.
3/8 in drive for 6mm bolts?
Why not?
did the heated mirror work?
Hello David, yes the heated function works as well. Such a nice upgrade compared to the stock mirrors. Thanks for watching! 🤟
Mine doen not have the 2nd panel
Which second panel? On the door?
@TrickShiftGarage yeah where you pop the 2 plastic pice of to reveal that 2 bolt I don't have it
What year is your F150?
