His voice expresses deep, deep pain....Jim, I hope you made it home.
Every time I hear the line "My only wish is to see far Arden again", I just freeze. It reminds me of all the dreams I couldn't achieve, all my wishes that haven't come true. I feel so empty. How can these words have such a power over me. This poem has become my best friend.

Facts all Jim's work's work my soul he had a type of intelligence with emotional despair that played on many avenues but came across strong with his prowess to emotional tone and metaphoric messages

This is so beautiful, I can't find the proper words. I was born at the time when the doors first played the Whiskey. I live in San Diego and was lucky enough to meet his brother Andy. He lives in Coronado CA and was so nice! RIP Jim.......

I just found the book "American Night" at my local half price books today. I always wanted that book and I'm glad I did want it. Because when I read it I get this feeling like I'm in a trance (in a good way). I just have to read more. It's like he's saying "Keep reading and you'll see what was in my heart". He had a very misunderstood mind. R.I.P. Jim
Oh, you said it perfectly, SailorMonees92. He was very much misunderstood young man. That is what drew me to Jim, his depth and intelligence. But, what drew me to him even more, was his constant pain, sadness and depression that is written all over his face and, also, felt in his voice. The way he performs, talks, sings, looks, I constantly feel just that, I can't shake it off. It is as if he is softly whispering to our souls who are willing to dive deep, and those who can understand his depth and where he is coming from. We simply understand the guy on a much higher energy level. And, you do not feel this with many people, as a matter of fact, it takes special and same souls to recognize each other.
Even his pictures, like the one you put in your video here, is so deeply haunting to me, as if he is telling us a story by his face expressions, if you only pay attention. And, it is not a pretense. It is like he is letting you into his deep, dark and hidden caves and passageways of his soul, if you are only willing to dive deep. I think, only people with deep, sensitive and intelligent personalities are drawn to Jim, because we see that there is so much more to him than just his looks and talent. He wants to tell us truth and he wants to be understood, but he wants us to keep digging until we find it. He wants us to learn the truth about who Jim really was and what he went through. And, he does not give it to us easy, he wants us to find that on our own. Jim is one of those people who does not have to say a word, yet you hear a story.
He always looked as if he needed someone to tell him that everything will be ok, and that he will make it through. He just needed someone to be close to him to listen to his ranting, and just hug his soul every now and then, hold him tight and tell him that he is loved and beautiful soul. I swear, he just needed someone who is very loyal and genuine to show him that his presence does matter and that he is very much loved. I hope he found all these things where he is right now as he very well deserved it.

Yes, I’m so glad that this life is not all that there is and I pray that Jim Morrison makes it to heaven. Have you heard “The White Bright Light” also just Jim with piano & strings, and he sings “Thank you oh Lord for the white bright light” and “Let me tell you about heartache and the loss of God”.
I’m so glad to hear in 2023 Morrison singing in a spiritual way; in the past I had only heard Doors songs and only recently discovering his poetry backed with beautiful piano!

Love Jim's voice very special and beautiful man.
All these poems were recorded on jims birthday, he was alone, besides the studio engineer. Jim had long forgot any of his piano lessons from when he was younger. Electra had the remaining doors put music to his poems for easier fan acceptance. Thank goodness...coz they might not have been released otherwise.

Sergi, I for some reason do not feel peace when listening to Jim, I only feel deep sadness. He had a very tough upbringing and life in general.

My favorite of Jim's Poetry reading, he was way ahead, I wonder what he would think of facebook? In these lyrics there are some similitudes to the "friendship" network and often we are left thinking .... Who are our friends? My only wish.... is to meet Jim Morrison, the only and Only Jim

I feel like if Jim was here he would say in an interview " it's a candle burning at both ends it's depending on its intentions but it's pretty much a sad excuse for people to be put down and look at themselves in a different light based on ideals and based on statements and people's criticisms that now more than ever in our time we are subjugated to conform to something we're not even aware we are trying to conform to to feel like we matter or that we're a part of something when we're all different and we just can't agree with our differences. But as far as information goes to benefit the tool of people for their well-being and safety I can see it being a benefit."

The poem is called Far Arden. It's just been re-jigged here, put to a new tune. But it's still spectacular.
