It's not ratting, it's more like farming, as for me...ratting is when you're intentionally looking for people who are fighting, to steal some from corpse. For farming purposes there is no better option than rogue with all the utility perks/skills, who just run/hide. Especially with traps/locks perk, which you should bring for such runs, ofc
The marketplace is more valuable than ever for HR ratting. You can get badly rolled / off meta rare and epic gear on the cheap for large, asymmetric returns. Not that you couldn't before, but now there's a much greater need to.
23:45 you should ALWAYS bring a pickaxe, its literally 20 gold from the woodsman and rubysilver is worth grabbing. nice video! Blood platforms is an annoying spawn as anything but warlock, but on other classes you can slowly clear to the wraith, then aggro him alone, get him into your starting room and trap the wraith in it by closing the door as you walk out, he will most likely hit you once in the process so be sure to be full hp, later (after clearing the topside of the room) cheese him ontop of the big chest (when its opened the lid gives you even more of a height advantage). Key is to work slowly and methodically in hell, as small misplays cost you your life quickly.
About to start trying to level up to wanderer on all my accounts and this is really helpful! Ratting was the only way I was able to get out alive in hr lol
Im not sure if its still the same but I bought a legendary club for cheaper than both those rare quarter staffs a few days ago and it put me in range for HR.
Hey man. I just started playing warlock, in general and am new to HR on my fighter. Why did your health barley move when casting spells? I'm having issues maintaining my health from casting on this class and life drain / hydra seemed ineffective.
Don’t use torture mastery it is practically useless (it triples the cost of spells) and the healing from it is worse than just using hydra and life drain (best way to heal as warlock) hope this helps!
Try using the perk that increases your will as this increases the damage of your spells; which, in turn, increases the healing that your life drain will do. You can also look for rolls like magical damage bonus, magical power, and will. These will all increase the amount of health you will gain. If you click see more stats and scroll down to magically damage bonus you can see how much magical damage you can expect to do. Around about 40% you will notice a significant increase in your healing. Good luck out there
@@КристианИлиев-х5щ If it had good rolls - yes, off of base stats, probably not. There's a hidden cast speed as well after you finish using a spell casting item that hugely impacts the damage. Spellbook's animation is the fastest, and staves are the slowest. Spellbook is also the least detrimental to move speed when held.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from games like this and Tarkov, you can try as hard as you want to deter rats, but they will always find a way. Very interesting how the purpose of normals and HR lobbies flipped, where all of the geared players are in normals now and HR is mostly mid level kits and rats.
@@Blackhawk23x I feel like I can't really blame people for this mindset. When rewards like cool skins and stuff are timegated, people don't want to lose out on it, and not everyone has the time or skill to get really good gear and survive lobbies. I really dislike FOMO stuff like this in games

Well ratting as a rat is very much alive. Run in get a free kit get out.

That be crow/seagull gameplay that you've described

even cheaper, just do a normal roller, keep all the rare+ armors, and uncommon+ weapons, easy 225+ for exactly free
