- I visited 5 different airline lounges at the San Francisco International Airport in one day. I went to two separate United Clubs along with the Virgin Atlantic, Air France and Centurian lounge. This is how I did it!

Thank you for sharing your walk there in SFO. I have not been there since the renovations and i still say the Red Carpet Room in relating to United Airlines. Hahaha, you made me laugh in my memories. I worked by the United Club here in Chicago a few times. it does get crowded, and the Polaris Lounge is nice. But yes, you are right in general about some of the lounges getting crowded and you just try to make you way with enjoying some of the food and drinks. I have the American Airlines friends who Igo with as well.

Thanks for the video. Just to report back, as of September 2023 a refurbished new Air France lounge is open and oh boy it's big, spacious, modern decor, great food, nice selection of drinks and bar, and even showers! Amazing. You need to fly AF or KLM to get access!

The new Air France lounge opened many months ago, very nice and worth a visit at SFO

It took one year to re-do the Centurion Lounge....I work at SFO. Now it will be harder to access with new construction later this year which will eliminate gates F1-F4 which face the lounge
I didn’t know they were eliminating those gates. That will make it harder to gain access with the construction.

It’s truly an underrated lounge that should be on your list of lounges to visit
Please pan your camera MUCH SLOWER (in micro movements) so that viewers can actually see what you shot, rather than doing a quick sweep with your camera.
Hey question. I’m traveling sfo-new york via jetblue on terminal 1, but im planning to go to ceturion lounge in terminal 3 before my flight. Is it possible to access it? Is there a way to walk inside the airport from terminal 1 to terminal 3 and vice versa? Do i have to pass thru security check again? Or ride an airtrain? Thank you! Btw, nice video!
Yes you can access it no problem. Just have to go through security a second time but they will scan you through.
From Terminal 3 to the international terminal, you don’t need to go through security again. I do that all the time
If you don’t mind me asking how do you avoid going through security again from terminal 3 to the international terminal
Are there any lounges with showers at SFO ?
I actually think the Virgin lounge did have showers, but I don’t know for sure because I didn’t use them. Virgin did stop accepting people with the AMEX Platinum though and now you need that Capital One Venture X card I believe.
The Club in terminal 1 has showers but they're an extra $25.
How were you able to get into lounge hours before your flight?
I had to kind of plan it out a little bit. For United, I can get into their lounges regardless how far out my flight is. The Centurion lounges have a 3 hour before the flight requirement so that’s the wild card. The other ones you can convince them by telling them you will only be a short time so they don’t think you will be hanging out for 5 hours.
It takee 20 min to get through CLEAR??
I have a question. Im new to lounges. I got my Priority Pass through Capital One Venture X. I have a trip coming up flying out of SFO domestic. Can I get access to Virgin Club lounge. Do they accept PP. Thanks
The Virgin Lounge only accepts the Amex Platinum card. However, with the Priority Pass will get you access into the China Airlines Dynasty Lounge, British Airways Lounge and Air France/KLM lounge but they are all in Terminal A, the international terminal.

@@travelintylerstyle I'm just at the AMEX Global Lounge Collection website, but I don't see Virgin Club on the list. Did they recently change it to not available? Thanks!
@@dragone7e yeah Virgin is in the process of switching over to the Capital 1 Venture X card and it is also removed from the Amex app. I was in DC about a month ago or so though and used my AMEX and got into the Virgin lounge even though it wasn’t showing on the app. So I need to get back to SFO soon to test this out.
