Meet Dance of Dragons, War Thunder’s third 2024 major update that features brand-new vehicles, quality of life additions and plenty of bug fixes. Welcome the first domestic aircraft from Switzerland to the game through the addition of the player-made premium P-16 strike aircraft for Germany! Next up is China, who’s received the JF-17 squadron vehicle and Al-Khalid-I premium tank from Pakistan, plus the superb J-10A fighter jet. The USA now has the T1E1 with a 90 mm cannon, as well as the F-111F bomber and AV-8B (Night Attack) Harrier variant as a premium, plus the USS Tennessee battleship. The excellent Stormer AD has joined Great Britain as an SPAA, plus the Australian F-111C bomber, with the USSR getting the fast-firing Su-24M. Besides this, the CTWV RCV for Japan and CV9035NL for France are now obtainable squadron vehicles! Last but not least, France has now received their Coastal fleet tree now in closed testing, one interesting boat is the La Combattante that can fire SS.11 missiles!

Even with high settings, sometimes trees and rocks have odd hitboxes.
Depending on map, some trees and rocks might damage your aircraft or helicopter... And in some others they are ghostly and do nothing...

Tbh though, to some it's not out until Missouri, Yamato, or Bismarck gets added.

Actually most vehicles have been given low quality models at random even if you have high quality modes selected

@@Luck00001 i meant to say that the FW190 series has never been remodeled its still using the beta one from 2012. Meanwhile Gaijin has already remodeled even minor planes already.

@@Namkifyman pads yes, but the stinger is actually a missile. Vehicle equipped stinger missiles have better range vs their hand-held counterparts.
@@Namkify but see in game most helicopters can fire their guided missiles at 4 km or more.

I just want some new game modes. Just adding Enduring Confrontation for Ground would be so much fun, playing on a big open map for ground vehicles with unlimited routs to take with villages, cities etc to drive through, capture and discover. Maybe even have some crazy event to try with Enduring Confrontation of having all the vehicles out, air, land and naval fighting on a big map with some AI's driving around. They could really do many cool big things if they wanted instead of every update is, visuals, vehicles and sometimes a new map....
(Seeing that they are adding a new mission for aircraft is in the right direction, see how that game mode will be)

2:44 Reliable my behind, the Puma is the only high tier vehicle I have a negative KD in because of how pathetic the damage is, low pen with almost no spall and barrels now require minimum of 5-6 direct hits to take out
And half of the time you damage their barrel red and they either still shoot or on their screen its not even red because of lag compensation 😭

anti airfield munitions would be sick, especially in air sim with planes like the Tornado. Also maybe other cluster munitions like the BL775

Skill issue, you can tell by the spawn costs and what your teammates are spawning.

the sight customization is very inconsistent and some sights just don't match their description, definitely needs to be looked at.
Please let us save our sights too, so we can add them to multiple vehicles without taking hours recreating them time and time again.
While you're right on rhis one you gotta take it easy yk this update isnt a major update yet there is a lot of new stuff, and the custom sights feature is new and i think it will take a few weeks to update it

Also, I'm not trying to be mad at the game, but trying to give feedback on what needs to be looked into
@@mattdovale i didnt try it yet so i can't really tell but i know there will be feedbacks from others by the time and they might consider it if more feedbacks about the custom sights are reported
Go to the war thunder forums to submit what you said this will turn it to an official feedback and people would probably go along and report more if they felt the current sights options are inconsistent
For now we just endure a little longer the snail has just blessed us yk

Compared to 2-3 years ago the quality of War Thunder has increased dramatically, its still far from perfect with the occasional unexplained ghost shell, etc. but the game is in a much better place than it was pre-QoL updates.

High tier tank maps are often to small. No flanking aloud anymore.
I appreciate being able to view camos for locked vehicles and view ordinance for added hangar loitering.
you could always view camos for locked vehicles, by going to their modification menu and clicking preview on the camoflague

Unlike the missiles found on the preceding PGZ04A, the Antelope’s armament features much greater range, up to 8 km in fact! As a result of this range and the general drastic improvement of the missile itself, its ability to intercept aircraft is very impressive.
max range is 6km and it cant fire at helicopter further then 2km . . .
Imagine if they add the Brazilian Gripen to the game or the A29 Super Tucano.😮

I would love to see some actual stats on most played tiers. I really want to know how the player base is divided up. Cause while seeing more modern tanks and jets are cool, I feel like the majority of the player base stick to mid-tier and get really left out with all the new stuff that comes out. I've seen the polls from different UA-camrs about favorite tiers and every time it has been mid-tier, I want to see how true that actually is. Cause many of the new stuff they add have no affect on the majority of the player base if this is the case.

A-10C Thunderbolt II is a W, I'm now going to start grinding US again
As of right now I like everything but on console the user interface for customizing the reticle are a bit finicky. The saving of one’s preset color settings doesn’t save the name properly and the colors don’t save over to the next tank if you did save a preset. You have to go and reselect all the colors you chose on the next vehicle. And with that. If it’s selected on or off. In order to operate the selection you have to select the other option and then select it the one you want again. For example: if I want the turret indicator on, the button says it’s on but the indicator is not present. I then have to select “off” then “on” again for it to update. Other than that it’s seals to be workable but time consuming. Hope to see more “WW2” reticle in future updates. I have been looking forward to this for a few years now!

I would very much like to have better start ups, especially at jets because the APU sound just cuts in middle (like JAS 39 Gripen) and it would be really cool with working formation lights or lights at landing gear or for example the red light going in circles on SAAB 37 Viggen.

everything including the models where i saw my planes with visible dots of blacks all over that ruins the looks and lags it are gone also its worth it because that 10gb of update fixed all the FPS drops and so on even if am playing at I5 4590 in ULQ, thanks a lot Gaijin. "highly anticipated new vehicles" anyone anticipated any of the vehicles they added? My favorite addition to this update is the F-111F because its an F-111A with 2000 more thrust, but with less then half the ordinance, doesnt even carry 3000lbs and loses 4 pylons so half of its bombs, along with that it got a 1.0 up br for this loss of ordinance.

I feel sorta offended for not mentioning the legendary Amagi. A battlecruiser, second to none that kickstarted the japanese doctrine for large ship design. Hell, Akagi and Kaga were meant to be battleships before turned to aircraft carriers, not to mention the Tosa class of battleships, which are basically better Amagi. And no mention?
I like how they highlight a POS Russian Battle ship. with 305mm cannons. And leave out the IJN Amagi Battle cruiser with 10 410mm Cannons. More Russian BIAS.
Instead of adding more naval tech tree wich also waste your resources since the player queue only 10 -+, try to improve naval game mechanic more

I just want to say, I am so happy with the new tracers and the VT-1 Missiles being fixed. This is such a win for war thunder! I also am so looking forward to the new PUMA :)
