Thanks for stopping to watch and your comment is greatly appreciated.Cant peddle much since my injuries. Not many big hills over here so this bike is great my 52v 1500watt Trek fuel 90 build is even better at over 40mph.
Thanks kVar the Fox Float suspension handles great too.I needed a couple days to get it done.Since my injuries and neck fusion I can only manage 20 minute short bike ride if i am lucky a couple hours on my feet as i am handicap now and cant peddle up hills without serious issues.
I got a question for you I got a 1000 hub what battery I could use a 48 V of 52 V I was thinking about 48 V30 oh 48 x 60 let me know which one’s the best
Thanks for asking. These kits come with weak controllers 26amp if your lucky. The battery bms is usually 30amp a 48v or 52v will work .The capacity or "ah" only determines the size of battery that will fit in the bike frame. My 1000w and 1500w ebikes have upgraded controllers 30amp & 45amp.My 52v batteries bms are 30 amp & 40amp.Check the spec of your controller amps.Go with 48v 30amp bms to be safe.Very hard to say without seeing what you have.
Hey thanks for stopping to watch Pale face. These mass produced ebikes are sometimes hard to upgrade without replacing the controller, battery and or motor. If your battery and motor can handle 30 amps maybe just replace the controller if the motor was at least 750 or 1000watt.Sell it and build your own bike like you want even better.
52v and 30a = 1560watts. That will put you over 30mph. Hub motors don't interact with the drivetrain. With a 1000w+ hub motor PEDALING and gearing don't make any difference at all to top speed on the flats unless you have a road bike with very tall gears. Most MTB conversions still use stock gearing and can't be pedaled over 26-28mph.
Yes it does over 30mph.I was referring to the gear selector on the SW900 ebike controller that has 9 gears but only 5 levels of power you have an ebike? I am using a 52 tooth chainring now so i can keep up with it better. Thanks for your comment and watching.
@@petertothRC-FPV I've built 6 hub motor ebikes and from 1200w to 3600w I don't use the PAS (pedal assist system) feature on them at all. PAS is really suited to mid-drives or the lower power, gear-driven hub motors. I use a twist throttle and pedal along up to 27mph. If you want to pedal at high speeds with a hub motor you can get a Schlumpf drive.
@@highsnburgers4862 My PAS works fine with this 1000w kit but my other ebike is 1500w throttle only much better with a cassette hub compared to this cheezy freewheel.
Hey thanks for asking you should know the amps you are drawing will produce heat🌋 when you ask for to much⚡this my 1000w setup is omly 30amps my 1500w setup on the Trek fuel 90 is 40amp🙈battery bms with 35amp controller gets warm fast at full throttle but i dont need to go over 40mph 😂 for any period of time really especially on these cheap motors
I worry the Whitetail deer will take me out someday. They are always spooked when i ride through at sundown many of them jump in front of me in a panic.
It`s the safest place to ride around here🤣 Rather get hit by a deer than a truck👍🏻Thanks for your view & comment.Check out my other bike is a 1500w vintage Trek Fuel 90 conversion🚀🚲
Can you just throttle around with that ? or do you have to pedal ?

@@petertothRC-FPV Sorry about your Injury. 40 mph is fast wow. I been thinking about and looking at 1000w or 1500w motor hub to start with.
@@DirtDigglerDetecting Was a harsh reality but anyway that 1500w hub motor was a tight fit and its powerful & heavy so a strong frame is needed.
Dang you got this thing installed quick! And it seems to be moving at a good clip too, as expected from a 1000W

@@petertothRC-FPV dang sorry to hear that bro 😞 I guess that motor is more of a necessity than a luxury
Absolutely surviving is my main objective.
Try recumbent bike, much easier on neck and shoulders.I can't ride upright no more.
Your so awesome man! Love that bike 👍😃. I just bought myself a specialized allez
Thanks bro you have yourself a very nice bike there👍 glad i found these old bikes in such good condition to ⚡ upgrade
