I'm glad you liked it! Yeah the differences are pretty dramatic and even if they're running technically the same stuff there's still massive adjustment differences like we saw there.
Really gotta laud your content here man. Loved the film breakdown and that last segment was really nice. You break down the concepts in a digestible way for a dunce like me lol
The Hidden Highlight Segment should be a hit in my opinion. Smart to have Woolen carry the crosser across the field knowing how fast he is. I wonder if maybe they could also have the safety cut the crosser and the corner replace him 🤷♂️
That is another way to cover this (its called invert replace). The issue is the amount of communication that you need to have all of those moving parts but it is possible. The 49ers/Texans/Jets scheme likes doing that a lot. I think it is probably just cleaner to have the corner carry it all the way across and it gives you more resilience if the wide receiver stops or cuts away. All this to say, there are many ways to cover this and the hawks last year chose the one that almost never works. :) Thanks for watching!
Im glad you liked it! Yeah I was confused with how the hawks ran it. Not to say that they never matched in Cover 3 but they got burned when they didn’t and really never adjusted.
I’m not overly concerned about sack numbers from Murphy. What I ultimately care about is that he is an eff up the play guy and be a constant disruption. Which appears that’s exactly what he is.
100%. You would still like him to make the sack when he has the guy point blank but you’re right the constant disruption is more than worth the missed tackles.
Yeah that's what I liked about Clowney his one good year with us (not that they're anything like the same player), doesn't get big 'numbers' but just effs plays up. I LOVE dudes like this
Excellent video bro!! Best I've seen from any Hawk you tuber!! I'd love to know what software you're running with drawing capabilities. Excellent work and football concept knowledge. Best I've seen! A+
Thank you! I use CapCut Desktop for all of my editing. The drawing stuff is just edited text boxes to look like lines with their mask feature if you want to try it out. CapCut is totally free and a powerful software that doesn’t crash my computer so I like it a lot. Thanks again for the kind words!
Dead Leg technique. I was wondering if it had a name. I've only heard dead leg refer to a move a running back makes when feigning into a hole to draw defenders, then bounce the run to a different spot.
Yeah it is used for both of those techniques. I think I’ve also heard corkscrew for what Murphy did but I think dead leg is far more descriptive of what you’re actually doing. Any name works but it’s ridiculously effective.
He’s looked awesome so far this year. I’ll probably wait to look at his tape until later in the year when we get more footage but me being high on him this offseason looks like it’ll age well :)
This guys it’s going to be a problem to QB’s and running backs. The fact that the Rams really wanted him says a lot. They were looking for the next Aaron Donald type of player.
Slightly concerned about the missed sack. He had him wrapped up and everything and the QB just slipped out of his grasp. I hope that doesn't happen again.
Hey I mean end of the day it ended up being a sack for someone else and I think that should be able to quickly fix that. Even if it costs him a couple of sacks this year that’s not a big deal with all of the other production I think he will have.
The Last segment was gold. Not many other Seahawk youtubers have that contrasting element.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed!
hidden segment is so nice, i love seeing how different our defense is from last year
I'm glad you liked it! Yeah the differences are pretty dramatic and even if they're running technically the same stuff there's still massive adjustment differences like we saw there.
Hidden highlight is a top tier segment. Gonna subscribe for more

I like the last part and it’s interesting that Pete didn’t coach them to Match before
Im glad you liked it! Yeah I was confused with how the hawks ran it. Not to say that they never matched in Cover 3 but they got burned when they didn’t and really never adjusted.
Keep putting out content like this, I'll keep sharing it in my newsletter
Thanks man! I love the work that you do and I appreciate you sharing it!

Love the last segment!
Loved the Hidden Highlights
def like the addition.
That last segment was great
Your channel is awesome. You should do a podcast too!
Thank you! Also hi :)
Loved the hidden highlight!! More please 🥺😂
Will do!
I appreciate your level of understanding the game!
Thank you!
Murphy's the man!
thus is good work
love the hidden highlight. you get a sub from me. nice work
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Please keep comparing the adjustments from last year to this year. Really shows how the defense will thrive under Coach Mac
Will do! The comparisons are honestly just way too easy as they are pretty much contrasting schemes/styles.

Still boggles my mind that K. McIntosh ran directly into the defenses chest instead of running towards the sideline after he got through the hole

he is the next ad
I hope so! Even if he’s only half of what AD was that would be amazing :)
@@The_Legion_of_12s i mean he is a monster so was aaron donald i think he will be better
If he isn't pressuring the qb, he is definitely pressuring the oline.
100%.
i didn't like the hidden highlight i loved it
Woolen looks like a breakout player this year

100%. It sounds like they were pretty desperate too. I think at the end of this year everyone’s going to be asking how he got to 16.
I can't wait to see Brock Purdy see what it's like to play prime Aaron Donald
That’s the dream for sure :)
Prime Aaron Donald he will never be that😂
Slightly concerned about the missed sack. He had him wrapped up and everything and the QB just slipped out of his grasp. I hope that doesn't happen again.

@@The_Legion_of_12s Yeah his motor definitely looks promising. I'm glad our line is finally back to pressuring QBs (hopefully in regular season too)
He clearly got caught on Mafe’s leg when he was wrapping
He better start eating roids for breakfest like Donald did 😅😂
