Dollywood's newest hotel: Heartsong Lodge & Resort

- Even before it officially opened, we got to stay at Dollywood's Heartsong Lodge and Resort as part of the preview days. Dollywood invited previous guests to check this place out as part of their soft opening - and we jumped at the chance. In this video, we are going to give you a tour of our room - and all the public areas of the resort. We will share with you the meals we ate at the resort restuarant and the activities that were offered during our stay. We even get to show you the Christmas decorations as the resort had just been decorated for the holiday a couple days before we arrived. We will close by letting you know whether we like this resort or the original Dollywood hotel, DreamMore Resort & Spa, better and why. It was cool to get a sneak preview of this resort before the official opening on November 3, 2023. We are excited to show you what we think of our stay.

I feel like I could spend all day in their lobby. That was so pretty. The fireplace was impressive. Also, love that they had a white noise machine in the hotel room.

Love everything about Dollywood and hopefully when we eventually get back to the US I would love to visit Dollywood. Looks like a wonderful accommodation. Well appointed rooms. This is a very nice resort! The rooms looked very comfortable and I absolutely loved the shower! The pools and hot tub were impeccable. I also really liked all the fire pits.
The continental breakfast looked good, but I think you did right by ordering from the menu.
The dinner menu also looked amazing!!

Heart song is a beautiful resort with so many amenities and so many looked so down home. The food looked so good. Yes, think I would order that French toast too. Yum.
This resort looks so beautiful! It just feels so warm and cozy coming through the screen. The outdoor areas just give me the warm and fuzzies. The restaurant seems like it has some really good options. I’ve already told Dave I see this resort in our future haha. I’ve been wanting to visit Dollywood so badly. I haven’t been oh goodness, 1999 was the one and only time I’ve been. Loved the cozy outdoor sounds you added at the end ❤.

This resort looks gorgeous and I love the Christmas decorations. The public places seem like such a celebration of the Smoky Mountains,. That fireplace is amazing, The room has such lovely touches...especially the fireflies in the mirror. We don't have fireflies in Scotland and I miss them! The white noise sound machine is cool. I want that cinnamon bread french toast! What a beautiful place to stay, thank you for sharing it with us.
It looks like a wonderful new resort and we enjoyed the tour, Alice and Jack. It was wonderful to be invited for their pre-opening! I would think that this time of year would be a high season too. We've come though the area in late October and it was jam packed with tourists. Is the $330 price reflecting that or does it go up other times of year? Lovely resort and room and we're glad you enjoyed your time there. Thanks for bringing us along.

what a beautiful resort, you lucked out being there during the Fall season with all the trees. The big fire pit area is super cool! LOL " Unhealthily competative" I like that. Nice that they have the bus to the parks. We may have to visit Dollywood someday, it looks great!
Nice job on this video. We are split on liking the leather straps. My husband loves the decor, me… I’m not sure. But the rest of the resort is gorgeous and it was great to see the Christmas decor- it’s never too early for us. Take care❤

What an awesome place to stay! I noticed in your video when you all asked for people to like the video your like button highlighted! I heard that feature was rolling out but this was the first time that I saw it work! We keep wanting to take a trip to Gatlinburg but we can find a time that would work on our schedule!

The staff is expecting Dolly to be there for the Grand Opening. Our original plan was to go to the opening but the women's conference at our church is that same weekend and I was asked to help with it. So we went a little early. You will love it. It is a beautiful resort! Thanks for watching!

Fall or the holidays definitely seems like a very good time to visit. This new resort looks nice, but overall, it seems a bit simple or plain? Maybe they still have something to add, but I feel like something is missing.
Yes, I think fall or Christmas is the perfect time to a visit to this resort - or the Smoky Mountain area in general. They are still adding touches to various parts of the resort. We were originally planning to visit the resort after the official opening in November to see what the finished project looks like. But we would have missed the Harvest Festival event at Dollywood if we waited until November to visit the resort. So we went to the preview event for the resort even though they advertised things weren't going to be finished at the resort yet. But I also think there is a degree to which they may have planned for the resort to look a bit simpler with a more "back to nature" theme than its original Dream More resort.
