- In this video we eat our way around Dollywood! Dollywood is known for having incredible theme park food, and it did not disappoint! We start at the Dollywood Spotlight Bakery with the infamous Dollywood 25 pound apple pie! Then, we check out some of the dollywood summer food 2022 that’s there as part of their summer celebration festival! Of course, at Dollywood you HAVE to get some Dollywood cinnamon bread at the Grist Mill. We eat some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had at the Hickory House BBQ restaurant before finishing up our day with a Fanta float (yes, you read that right!). What theme park do you think has the BEST food?
In my opinion, Universal Studios Orlando because there is a lot of variety.
Honestly Dollywood is the best theme park food I have ever had.
Epcot for food and wine is off the chain for foodies!! But Silver Dollar city and Dollywood both have great food. Universal Orlando Resort has also mad unbelievable strides in food quality in the past several years
Honestly, I don't know lol. That's a difficult question. Most of the parks I've been to have had something that made me go "OMG...this is too good to be theme park food lol".
Can't beat the humongous variety of amazing food at Epcot. But Animal Kingdom has some of my absolute favorites. Im really looking forward to Dollywood to try those fries and cinnamon bread.
You two are making me so hungry with all that food. I'm glad I don't live close to Dollywood. I would weigh 500lbs. 😁

I put mayo on the OUTSIDE of the bread, for grilled cheese. It spreads easier than butter, browns up nicely and adds flavor.

We really need to make that happen now that the mouse has lost its way. Tylar, when y'all hit 50K subs, or some other milestone, how 'bout a compilation video of Anna's Epic Back Glance Shoulder Shrugs of Cuteness. Seems only fair after the churros. ;-) . Knoebel's in Elysburg PA is another REALLY strong contender for great park food. The park also offers one of the best unique small park experiences ever.

SO happy y'all went to Dollywood! (Hello from Huntsville!) I'm trying to convince my husband to take a vacation up to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and y'all's videos are PERFECT for appealing to him! I love all of Dolly's festivals, but I'm aiming for either the Halloween/fall one or Christmas (though the springtime one with all the umbrellas covering the main street area is soooo beautiful)!
We’re hoping to go back either this fall or December! We love when the parks are decorated for the holidays! We hope you have an awesome trip up there, there’s so much to do in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg!!

I live in Tennessee less than two hours from Pigeon Forge and I used to get Gold Dollywood season passes every year just so I could go eat twice a month or so. They have some of the best "theme park" food. Cinnamon bread is an absolute must and mayo for grilled cheeses is definitely a southern thing (My grandma would use bacon grease sometimes too). That cinnamon bread also makes great french toast if you stay somewhere with a kitchen or have enough to take back home for later.
Oh my gosh cinnamon bread French toast sounds incredible!! I’m not sure we’ll ever have enough to take home and try it, but WOW! Lol

The mayo on grilled cheese is for sure a southern thing. I have family members that do that too and some even add a tomato slice to them. And by Taco Hut do you mean Pizza Hut or is there a place called Taco Hut. 🤣
He meant the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combos! We have one in town that has the full Taco Bell menu and then serves little pan pizzas and breadsticks too lol.
We use mayo instead of butter to grill the sandwiches

My family and I really enjoyed your Dollywood videos. You guys are so much fun! Dollywood is awesome and the food is some of the best. The BBQ is awesome there and the Cinnamon Bread is heaven for sure. I think Hersheypark and Knott’s Berry Farm are high on the best theme park food places too.

Looks like you found some really great foods! When we went, the food that surprised me the most was the fresh pork rind stands. I had never seen that at a theme park and they were everywhere!

We haven't gotten brave enough to try that pie but we need to! The Hickory House pulled pork is definitely a great place!! I haven't eaten at Lumberjacks pizza in quite a while but they used to do whole pizzas and slices, looks like they must have changed to Flatbread pizzas and may not be as good as they were! Dollywood and Silver Dollar City are both amazing. Holliday World in Santa Claus, Indiana has good food, the restaurant in the thanksgiving area is awesome. Kings Dominion in Virginia has really stepped up their food. The Grain and Grill and Outpost Cafe are the best. You can get Prime Rib at Outpost cafe. Prime Rib at an Amusement Park, can you believe that?

We tried Dollywood for the first time a few weeks ago and were not impressed except for the food, it was good.

Taco Hut sounds good, but in my town we have a KFT (Kentucky Fried Taco) combo and the Pizza Hut is about 100 feet or so across the parking lot!

I love vanilla ice cream in an orange soda so I'm sure that was awesome. The fries looked so good but I can't have pork so that sucks lol. Of everything in the video I definitely want to try the apple pie (my favorite dessert) and the cinnamon bread (just looked too good to pass up).

First off, thank you so much for showing me what a slice of apple pie looks like from Heaven! As always, great informative video. We could so hang! The food looks awesome and can't wait to indulge heavily when we are there. I'm just hoping walking the hills at the park burns off what I ate so I can eat even more. Out of curiosity, when I have researched the area around Dollywood, there seems to be a bunch of good pancake places in nearby Gatlinburg. Have you tried any of them? Haha you’re welcome! It was so good, we couldn’t believe how big it was. The walking definitely helps offset the food, too! Lol and we’re not sure about pancake places! I know the apple barn is delicious, but I’ve never had breakfast there!

I have actually heard of people substituting the butter all together for mayonnaise on a grilled cheese! 🥪 I tried it one time and still prefer the traditional way, but it is definitely a thing! Haha

I haven’t been to Dollywood in a while but we were there during some kind of bbq festival and they had entire pigs on spits and everything we ate was delicious. Also, smoked turkey legs. The best.
