Job well done! For anyone coming on and saying that this is cruelty, it's not. Horns don't have nerves out towards the end of the horn. Blood vessels yes. This bull was fighting basically because he was tied up and he was resistant. Bulls will kill you in an instant and not be bothered in the least. I was attacked by a young bull that I hand raised. He tossed me in the air and he was only playing. Put me in the hospital overnight for observation. I hurt for a week afterwards.
At first it’s a bit confronting not having seen this procedure done on bulls before but I thank you for showing me how you care for your guys, I understand it looks worse than it is the poor baby needed some tlc, and he’s getting it . What fantastic helpers you have they are learning from the best person they can , show em how you do it boss man
They can't afford to have frayed horns. They need those horns to help regulate heat. Like he said they could get infected. Ain't no snowflakes on a farm people. Get over it if your feelings get hurt.
I think you could have secured him a lot better, that was very dangerous to begin with, but trying to teach someone to do it was a very bad example. You definitely need some anger management sessions. Not nice to ladies at all. 🤯🤬
This is the kind of job where you're all in or nothing. You have to move fast, and these people may not know exactly how to do what with these bulls, especially if you're afraid of them.
It’s also part of the tough love on which ya grow up with on a farm, cause the ones who where helping him was his twin girls, if ya went back to the house breaking the 2 year olds ya would have seen them.

Is there any way you could do a video of your rankest bulls, and your most unique bulls and the history of them.

Doing this is no time to be dainty. Straight to the point is a good way to teach and helps memory. David is a good teacher.
