Tierra was absolutely a victim and she was manipulated in her most vulnerable moment by a man she thought truly cared for her. This is a form of abuse/domestic violence and unless you’ve experienced this kind of emotional abuse and manipulation, you may not understand from the outside looking in.
To the point where he could feed her a line like “I forgave you for busting my car windows” and she replied saying “i forgive-“ before she caught herself :/ and he continued to feed her lines like “do you still love me” and “you’ll always be my woman in my eyes” like thats so messed up
I've been through this same shit. One of my exes was so manipulative and abusive in every way and even tried to make me his sister wife with his baby mama and live in a three way relationship. I was so broken from my past family abuse that I thought that he was the best I could get and convinced me that I was lucky that anyone would be with me. Then one day, doing therapy, I realised that I deserved better and that my life started falling apart only when I started being with him. And just like Ahkbar, he was charming and sweet and loving and made me feel special in the beginning but it was a trap. Now I'm married to an amazing man, the absolute love of my life who treats me like a goddess and is so kind and patient and loving to me. That's what I want for Teairra. She deserves to have a man who would treat her right because she seems like an absolute sweetheart.

I read about people like Akbar while researching for a paper. He uses the same tactics many cult leaders use. Finding a vulnerable individual (she just got out of rehab), giving her what she wants and needs (helping her with her videos and career) isolation of her friends. Fortunately, Paris got investigated when she did, cause he was just sinking his teeth into her before making her apart of his group completely. He then used abuse to mess with her mind and make her feel like he is in control of her future…. He didn’t expect it to back fire
