One thing I will say on this situation is that the chiefs were the only team to give tyreek a shot when he got in major legal trouble, and he wasn't even cheetah then. We gave him a shot when no one else wanted him, we build him up and pay him great, but as soon as hes a star he wants all the money right now right now. If he's all about the team he would've taken a paycut. Kelce is the best tight end in the league and hes on a 4 yr contract with only 27m guaranteed, with the potential to make 57m+. Thats the difference between a team player like kelce who is willing to go out there and earn the incentives and someone chasing the money. I can't blame tyreek for leaving for that check, but chiefs came up to his 25m guaranteed and he still left, therefor, chiefs have 0 blame. We have some of the best players in the league and you either wanna play with a good team and win or play with a mid team and not get rings. Chiefs made the best move by letting him go because now we have more than 2 weapons across the board, and with way more money to spare.

Need to get more involved with the offense? Dude's got at least 1000 yards every year he was with Mahomes except for the 1 season when he was suspended. I don't have a problem with another team offering more money but at the end of the day it comes down to getting paid a good contract on an elite team or getting paid an elite contract on a mediocre team. You're body will take more hits when you're on a mediocre team as the opposing team can put more focus on you since you're the main threat of that offense now. I know the Dolphins are on pace to make playoffs this year, but if anyone's memory is good enough remember the subject of this comment as the Dolphins likely fail to win many playoff games going forward. I don't think within the next 5 years anyone's [other than Dolphin fans] honestly expecting to Dolphins to win a Superbowl or go that deep in playoffs and that time will overlap with end of Tyreek's prime years.
