34:00 I think I agree with you here, it feels like saga + tinker is enough wincons for most combo decks these days, but I did enjoy geralf being a mono blue card for the purposes of not having to splash another color so maybe 1 or 2 copies might be the way to go.
I wonder if it'd be decent sideboard for certain matches. Maybe the other win con that also gums up the board could be useful against initiative or maybe bazaar stuff?
A wise man once said that Delver of Secrets has always been the worst card in delver decks. I feel solidly that between Urza's Saga and Lurrus, there isnt any need for to dedicate a card slot to winning the game anymore
6:58 ish it may be hindsight (but that's why i ask!) but were you aware of the line to "tinker for vault and get key off saga, play a land, untap vault?" but just chose not to go for it because it wasn't backed up?
I dont know if its good. But the zombies dont have to come from Geralf. So you can create a bunch of zombies with, like, Bridge from Below and they get counters too.

We'll win a couple, too. But don't get too excited or let it go to your head. No long winning streaks here, no sir. That's hubris, which this blue collar, hard working everyman team doesn't have. A few wins in a row, these guys, true to form, will balance it out with a couple a losses. Yes sir, that's my 2024 New York Mets. A good, honest .500 baseball team.
The issue isn't that Geralf won't make an impact, it's that Lurrus is too much of a problem and makes Vintage way too fast for him. Lurrus just needs to be banned. The meta is like 90% Lurrus decks.
