I have a 75 that I had bought in the mid 80s, and never used it. This year I took it to the Amp and Guitar Dr. because I figured it might need re Caped, and new tubes. I left the Amp with him, and he called me when it was ready to be picked up. When I got there and got out of my vehicle I heard this great sounding playing coming from his shop. I thought God that really sound great. So I walked in and it was my Amp, and Fender Strat that I had him set up for me. It turns out that the Amp needed nothing but a couple re soldered joints after all these years. I was always told that after 10 years or so the tubes and capacitors need changed. If you want to see something really crazy go to You Tube and punch in Fender 75 Amp pulled from a lake, you will die.
Hola Mr. John Monnett. Where can I get one, I live in México, Colima... I had one like that 35 year ago and I regretted losing it, I appreciate you to inform me if you know where I buy one. Thank you very much...
cesteacy depending on the gear you use that might be the max bass you can use. Fender tested their amps with you guessed it, fender single coil guitars and optimized the circuit to work best with those guitars. If you use humbuckers, especially overwound humbuckers, you have so much bass content in your signal to begin with- you probably have to nearly take all the bass out as possible
What kind of a demo is this? You never cranked it and let it scream. A 75 can give a perfect southern rock tone but not with the volume control down in the weeds.
i used the boost on mine with the mid and bass knobs pulled out and pre amp gain on 10. it was pretty good with a wah to help out. the louder you set the master vol the better it sounded. it was loud as hell though. i often thought it would work well with a power soak but i never got round to getting one.
@@quantumbuddhist it's psychological man . I go through a 100watt Laney GH 100l and it gives a vibe that 15 watts can't . Especially when you play with a loud drummer. In a small Venu I turn down but it's nice to drive the 4x12 eh. I gotta 2x13 Marshall cab for smaller aps

I had one....I regret so much I sold it....best Fender Amp ever!
Just got one in a trade. My first fender amp ever. I love it to pieces.
Great sound. Great drip on the reverb
i had one toured it then gave it to my son over 10yrs ago. he loves it. im using a laney 100 watt and a 4x12 which i prefer
I gigged one of these in the 1990's
Killer amps!
Thin sounding?
Could you share which speaker it has??? Thanks
Guess I won't be selling mine after all. I have the 75 combo and a 30. Brother amps. I couldn't resist owning both of them.
What I forgot to say was that is a great example of playing through this amp. Great tones. Thanks for the vid.
How is the comparison between the two? I've got the Fender 30 with 2x10 and like it a lot....

I wish I could help you with finding one. As you know, they are very heavy and expensive to ship. Good Luck!
Thank you Mr. John Monnett, I will be waiting for a good news...
Is this one for sale on reverb??
What kind of speaker do you have in the 75? I cant turn my Bass beyond 3 without it all turning to mud. mine could probably use some fresh tubes too.
Looks and sounds like a JBL D/K/E 130

Yes it can-but, you mustn't have any neighbors if you're cranking it up :-)
I agree it does southern rock really well
