Thrilled about this series! I've watched you a Long Time! You've really honed your Gifts!!
I have had a 4-H project in North Lake Tahoe since 1988 last horse property on the North Shore
We were given a wild born Chincoteague Pony, 5 yrs old, untrained with entrenched dangerous behavior
    She's now just a Gem!
I'll look forward to sharing this series in our program
Thank You for being So Generous to share your work 🐎🐎

Sam know I will be rooting for you in the next Mustang

Sam, I'm sure you wonder, are folks really interested in your work with the mustangs. I want to assure you absolutely!! The personality of each horse is so different and it really shows. I've said this before, your personal strength with these horses is so helpful to me when I'm stressed out. I've got to start donating to you so I will look at what you have. Your videos are very nice stress release.

Where are you looking - what are your eyes focusing on as you apply pressure and release?
Do you ever/have you ever tried to close your eyes briefly when a horse gives you two eyes?

  • @kathleenhuff3059

If he was mine, I'd start with sitting in the middle of the pen and wait for him to come see me....and at feeding times I'd use extra...lots of extra molasses...and let him see I've got "treats"... I've broke yearling thoroughbreds this way...and when its saddle breaking time, i let the horse play with an saddleover night..and i never rush the process...i also groom standing on a muck bucket so the young horse is used to me being above his head.... I've never had a problem with this...only breaking problems I've had were those riders who decided to "cowboy" on my horses after i got all ground work and early riding done..as they thought as i was going too slow in the process!...2 guys got busted up by 2 of those horses...sad..
