We really wanted to go say hi but we got a little shy 🙈 he was busy filming something about how the govt handled this red list through covid 🤷🏼♂️ I’d love to watch it but haven’t found it. Great video.Try the Sheraton Skline if you need a hotel near terminal 5 at Heathrow.We stayed in the Raddison near terminal 3 in the June of 1996 when we flew to L.A with Virgin Atlantic.We really enjoyed it.Never flew before and we loved it. Thankyou for the video. Best Wishes Hazel

Speaking of dropping off your bags early...one of the lesser known things BA offers at Heathrow is the ability to check in your bags the evening before if you have a flight leaving the next morning. This way, you'd have your documents checked and your boarding passes in hand so you can pass through security if you arrive way earlier than the check-in opening time. As far as the technical reason why they don't allow early check-in - it's because in Terminal 5's baggage handling system, bags that aren't slated to be placed on a flight within three hours have to go to a special storage area with a capacity of only 4,000 bags, where the majority of bags are those of people on longer layovers (one third of people passing through Heathrow are connecting passengers). They want to ensure that that storage area isn't overrun with bags so they make the vast majority of their passengers check in late so their bags don't go there. That limitation ensures there's enough room for connecting bags, so they can offer prior-evening check-in as a hidden feature that very few people know about as well as early day-of check-in as a perk for premium passengers so they can get more time in the premium lounges.

Bad isn’t it that hotel if it didn’t have that runway bar it would feel like something out of a horror film, the inside of the hotels nice though surprisingly 🙈. Just the no noise proof or anything the planes are loud at night we have planes fly over our house but we don’t hear them lol. Hahah in my defence American trolleys are really hard to steer compared to U.K. ones the back wheels don’t turn 😁🤑. Thank you can’t wait to share them all 💙
I always have the toughest time sleeping the night before travel day. I love those pods at Heathrow! They are so cute! That must have been a marathon long day for you guys! So excited you got to go to California, can’t wait wait to see what kind of trouble you got into. Let the *F* count begin! Love it 🥰
Haha 😆 you wait for the F bombs one video has tonnes of them 🙈. Them pods are no good in the heat it’s like a sauna on wheels but we loved using them it’s a great idea and decent price too I think. Yeah the day was long we were up for 26.5 hours in the end but we had a good night sleep 😴 and jet lag didn’t really get to us which was nice for the 8 hour time difference. We love the USA we need to move to California it has everything theme parks, beach, hiking, desert 🏜 😱 if we win the lottery we’re going to move 🙌🏼. 🙃 thank you you’ll enjoy what we’ve done I’m sure 💙💙💙💙💙 hope you guys are keeping well?

Those pods are so cool! Never seen anything like that before haha Apple air tags do really seem like a great idea we are thinking of getting a couple for peace of mind. Randy’s donuts look amazing! Such a nice spacious room that bed is huge! Haha can’t beat a good Target trip! Heard so many good things about Blaze pizza! I would get them although our showed in The middle of the Atlantic when we landed back in heathrow 😂 but they are great deffo get some. Yeah the pods are great when it’s not hot 🥵 there like mini saunas. Yeah the room was nice we looked online and people said they had cockroaches in their room so we were dreading it but it was really nice you can’t take anything for face value on trip adviser anymore. Awww guys them donuts 😋 holy cow they were the best we’ve ever had! We love a good trip to target we went most days I think 😂. Ohh to be fair we couldn’t eat them sugar cookies with all the other bad stuff we ate we just couldn’t eat them ended up throwing them in the bin half way through the trip lol. Aww thank you we had such a fab holiday so excited for our other vlogs to go out :) Well you know what we’re like we like to be honest 🤣 but you’ve got to admit it did look like a prison from the outside 🤣 I know it was so annoying that we couldn’t do bag drop until STD -3 as we always get to the airport like 4-5 hours before our flights but we have learnt our lesson with British Airways haha! Honestly the weather was always so nice in California. The mornings were always a little overcast but then always turned into the most beautiful weather 🥰 we miss it 😩 I’m (Ellie) not a donut person usually bu the donuts were the best!! We definitely went back they were too good not too! We didn’t have high hopes for the holiday inn but was really surprised on how nice the room was when we arrive so we were super happy about that :) I know the parking all adds up doesn’t it we couldn’t find another hotel that offered free parking. What proof of vaccination do you need to show ?
You have to be fully vaccinated and we used the VeriFLY app where we uploaded our vaccine certificates to.
Never understood why people go to California. Most people are trying to escape it.
