We watched "Windstruck" a movie that was a combanation of Comedy/Action/Romance and Tragedy. It excelled at all aspects, and instantly became one of my top ten movies of all time, and we cried, cuz it hits youin the feels. She told me it was a sequel to a 2002 film called "My Sassy Girl", and it was just as good, and I cried, because it hits you in the feels. I don't think a 30 year Marine Drill instructor could watch these and not have a dry eye.

Things commonly found in Korean dramas-
    -Fainting old person
    -A company or corporation
-Wealthy character/a privileged upbringing (either the main guy or his love interest)
    -Noodles/Ramen
-Child switched at birth (either accidentally or deliberately)
    -Wealthy vs Poor
    -Verbal wars
-Orphans/Adoption, etc (who may or may not be revealed having a wealthy lineage and ultimately, an epic comeback)
    -Kimchi
    -More verbal wars
    -Angry loud women
    -Miserable men with debts
    -Less than admirable fighting scenes
-You just missed them at the airport kinda scenes
    -chasing each other on foot

@James Furey white people aren’t any better than any race, and vice versa. The reason people are so happy to see a diverse person in the spotlight is because it used to be extremely rare later on. Now a-days people don’t “hate” white people (some are a bit over dramatic, but it’s not “hate”). Just because people want to see more diversity in the spotlight doesn’t mean we hate white people, they just need to step aside for a bit. Don’t worry, they’ll come back; and there are still A LOT of white people in the spotlight, so don’t pretend they are kicked out of media entirely.
But I’m not saying some are not going overboard. I’m just saying your comment is exaggerated.

Quagmire seemed to be doing pretty well for speaking his lines out phonetically and having no idea what was going on. Kinda funny that was probably a joke put in because lots of shows, including probably Family Guy itself, have done exactly that. You also see it the other way around sometimes; English lines that are spoken phonetically by non-English speakers, and often some off as really weird because they have no idea what to emphasise. (Which just goes to show how weird it probably sounds for other languages)

And this is my friends is why Korean dramas are so awesome. My main favourite medium is Japanese anime, but Korean live-action productions have truly opened a new fresh perspective on dramas, sci-fi and fantasy romance releases. They feel so different in a good way from what we have in the west and I hope this continues and we don’t end up closing our doors off from them again just because they threaten the established industries in the west that would do anything to keep themselves on top. These aren’t a threat to our televised in cinematic industries but a wake-up call that we need to be doing things differently. Work closer with animation and live action productions in the east and vice versa.
