I have two Arkens and love them. As soon as I have the need Ill try a EPL. I dont have this model.

I would love to have this on my Savage M110 “Long Range” Hunter in 300 WSM since I am setting it up to be my Western Big Game hunting rifle for mostly elk and mule deer 🦌. I currently have a Redfield Revenge Hunter 4-12x42 with the BDC hash marks, it’s a good scope and all, but I wouldn’t mind something with an external elevation turret for dialing longer ranges that I might encounter out west. Then I could use my Redfield on the Savage Axis 2 Pro in 350 Legend that I plan on getting to hunt my new home state of Ohio.
@@TheWVgoodguy22 I like your scope swapping plan, lol. I used to have a Revenge. Like you said, it’s good, but I think the Arken is better.
@@hopefulballistics thank you 🙏 I believe so too. For my planned use case I think 🤔 that the Arken will be better in the long run. If I was just hunting whitetail deer 🦌 in the east say PA and West Virginia I would leave it as is and get Vortex Crossfire 2 Straight Wall scope for my future 350 L.
I have the EPL4 4-16x44 and I do not like it. The eye box at 16x is very small and unforgiving. There is a lot of shadowing also at 16x.
