Tauri another amazing fact about Cicadas is their life cycle. They stay under ground for up to 7 years. Then climb up on a tree resembling something like a big brown June bug from Mars. Then go through a transformation something like when a caterpillar get a hard shell eventually breaking out you see them.
Blackbriar is close to my heart. Amazing music and divine singing combined with beautiful music videos and lyrics that point to traditional folklore. For example, in this piece we have to notice the blue bells, which are associated with fairies and death (if you hear a blue bell ring, your loved one will die). There is also a beautiful connection to the poem about Tithonus (a young prince of Troy who fell in love with the dawn goddess Eos. He begs her to make him immortal so that he can remain her lover forever. However, she forgets to specify that she wants him not only to be immortal, but even to the young for ever! Tithonus becomes an old man who cannot die, though he longs for it. He is so old that he shrinks to a cricket/ cicada. According to another ending, only his voice remains.)
A very nice song, indeed and the music video is simply so Blackbriar-esque. It is now the perfect time to mention that Blackbriar has recently made a music video for an upcoming EP by Stream of Passion (Marcela Bovio´s old band that got back together a few months ago). "The Hunter" is the single´s title.

My small country must be proud of this amazing band! My favorite Blackbriar songs still are 'Deadly Dimiuendo' and 'Weakness and Lust'
