Thanks this file was just what I needed. I was using macros to create my shortcut menus but they didn’t look good because they were missing icons. I received you file with the Add-Ins tab and now my shortcut menus look more professional. The $1.35 saved me hours trying to figure it out myself.
Mark, When I compile the code i get "User-Defined type not defined" on statement 'Dim CB as CommandBar'. Can you please tell me how you defined CB and CBB? Much appreciated. . . . .
Mark, I used your code to create a shortcut menu. It is great! But, they upgraded to 2013 and the shortcut menu is not working. I have 2019 and it is working fine. Do you have any ideas? I would be willing to pay you.
I haven't been able to find the policy id number spreadsheet. I downloaded the access developer resource file and have searched for a list of policy ids but no luck.
found it! Office 2010 Help Files: Office Fluent User Interface Control Identifiers ...can be found here: www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=6627
ordered file on march 9th, no file yet. tried to email but no response. I checked the email associated with paypal but nothing there. please help, thanks.
Hi John, Sorry to hear you have not received our email with Access Custom Shorcut Menu file attached. Our email server shows the file was emailed to you March 9th at 4:35 PM. We will resend the email again today. Please check your spam email folder.
Thanks Mark, Finally got it working. For others. You need to reference Microsoft Office Objects library, to get access to the commandbar object, and I found a list of the control ids for access 2007 here... www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3582. I figure most will be the same for current versions of access.
If you mean the design View of a form, report or query. First you need to select the form, report or query, then press shift-F10 to get its menu, then press shift-D.
I know this is about a year old. Will this code work in Access 2013. If so I am getting an error on the line .... Dim CB as CommandBar What reference library should I be using.
Visual Basic For Applications Microsoft Access 15.0 Object Library OLE Automation Microsoft Office 15.0 Access database engine Object Library Microsoft Office 15.0 Object Library
