lk a lot of people have spoken about not being able to listen to his music because of the darkness of the songs, but I actually quite like it because of that. The way he handles those "dark" topics. I don't want to sound elitist or anything, but I've really had enough of shallow music and being coddled and hidden away from such bad things. Kikuo's music is real and raw in many aspects, and he doesn't shy away from those taboo topics which are rarely addressed in such a manner. This somehow makes me feel comforted. It helps that all his songs are such a bop too
@@mosquitooooooo How do people actually listen to that one more than once? For me it only took my first listen for me to know that I hated it. The mv makes it way worse. that's some horror manga type crap.

@@hashtagmenheras OH MY GOD SAME Kikuo songs are always popular when it has shock value or whatever,i'm still thinking that a song in KikuoMiku 4 isn't popular as the ones on other KikuoMiku songs *KikuoMiku 1-Boku wa sonaide minaide and Tengoku e Ikou *KikuoMiku 2-Gomenne Gomenne *KikuoMiku 3-Aishite and Kimi wa Dekinai *KikuoMiku 4-??The most popular song is Kaleidoscope, but it doesn't exceed to a million views,it's litterally one of the best kikuomiku albums out there *KikuoMiku 5-Kara Kara Kara *KikuoMiku 6-Hole-Dwelling But anyways what you said is all true, all Kikuo songs are amazing but his best are the ones that are unpopular, like KikuoMiku 4 itself is unpopular(i kept saying it but i don't care i won't shut up about how good that album is) Seems like other Kikuo songs that it's IN his channel doesn't even have lots of views either, just goes to show that other people doesn't do anything other than listening to his popular songs:/
@@hashtagmenheras that was explained so amazing,i really love how you can come up with themes on the albums,i have problems with it but what you just explained made me realized some stuff, thank you for that explanation on Miku 5 and 4 The dumb fun ones are absolutely my favorite,MAWARU,Keep Going!Keep Climbing!Up to The Tall Tower and Second Curse(or any Chiri Chiri Juso remixes and of course the original itself)are one of my most favorite songs by Kikuo, and yes they do be underrated. The Miku 5 explanation you said are very true also,I mean Kara Kara is called Emptiness and it's very much different compared to the other Miku 5 songs Do you perhaps know the themes in Miku 6 and Miku 2?I'm very much interested on your explanations
@@hashtagmenheras omg thank you so much!I enjoyed reading!I love your explanations on each songs, your Searching for your Love explanation is my most favorite it is very nice! Also for the Miku 1 and 2,i gotta admit, that's actually true tho Also i'm so glad you loved Miku 6 it's one of my favorite albums for Kikuo too(along with Miku 4 of course,KikuoWorld 2,the KikuoSiku and KikuoHana albums),it's a very relaxing album for me and it's very experimental.I always loved music that has a unique tune to it and also has vague lyrics that can make us question what the song's really about, again thank you so much, that was a big help for me
My favs: (Because someone put their favorite Kikuo songs and i will do it also) 1.Welcome to The Star Inn 2.MAWARU and Nobure!Susume!Takai Tou! 3.Inside the Water and Good Night 4.Histrionic,CULT and Indecisive Us 5..Dwarf Star Fireworks and Tensho sho Tensho(Applies to the original of course and the livemixes) 6..The Great Tunnel Adventure and The Cat's Dining Table 7.Waltz of Malice,Mandala and Fun Escape at The Human Flesh Forest 8.The Girl Who Sells Misfortune and Substitute 9.Chiri Chiri Juso(2014 LiveMix) 10.Hole-Dwelling and Kara Kara Kara no Kara (very much a fan of KikuoMiku 4 and 6 holy shit) But you know, all and i mean *ALL* Kikuo songs are amazing, from his earliest songs from him to now,🔪🔪🔪 was the best.Even if it has distinct style you can still feel it's Kikuo. I can recommend you,op,to listen to more of his songs and explore,i'm not forcing you but his best songs in my opinion are most likely the ones that are underrated Edit: Coming back to this comment i am seriously so mad at myself for having 2 kikuomiku 5 songs in here,IT SHOULD BE ALL OF THEM IN HERE DAMMIT-Like La La La Rasen No Naka is a graceful masterpiece-truly great,Oishii Tamashii is such an acid trip like MAWARU,Koshin Koshinchu have that vaporwave vibe going and i'm loving it,First Cry having sounds that are peaceful like nature(sounds like kikuoworld 3 perhaps),and Pino Polaris for having a theatrical vibe,it's so good.. It's amazing Kikuo can make experimental music so amazing, kikuomiku 5 is all about it actually(along with KM6),MAWARU i think completely blew me away just thinking it's from Kikuo,i wouldn't have expected such an acid-trippy song by him that can make me dance like an idiot, what makes it blew me away is that i've just been listening to his KM6 works, which are also experimental but MAWARU just hits a lot different. This is probably my whole bias about it as one of my favorite song ever, but i think it's an insight that his music genre is very vast but still has his own unique style with it,i love the absolute hell out of it edit 2: I kept on coming back to this I just wanna say,ARE YA'LL A FAN OF KIKUOHANA'S WORK?And no I don't think listening to only Hitogawari and Fukouya no Musume counts(those are just popular,ya'll are missing out more incredible songs) KIKUOHANA MY BELOVEDDD You have no idea how much I love tracks like Nocturnality,Nobure Susume!,Seka Seka Theater,Mr.Morning Mr.Night and those two first interludes on the two Kikuohana albums Instrumentals makes me go OH MY GOD KIKUO U'RE SO GOOD like it's amazing holy shit,it's more like a parade is happening on the aforementioned songs,I do think there's a specific genre name for this but I don't know what it's called.Don't even get me started on Wolf Man I LOVE kikuo's jazzy works(MOON DEMON MY BELOVED😔💖) BUT WAIT?Did I only talk to Instrumentals?HANATAN'S VOICE IS HEAVENLY-Like??U want a Kikuohana song where the instrumentals back up while Hanatan's voice is the main focus of the song?THE SONG CALLED WHICH ME IS PERFECT,I cannot express how much I love the song,Hanatan's voice is beautiful. In conclusion.Kikuohana is a godly musical duo in which we don't deserve to have😔
I've never been into vocal our but recently I discovered Kikuo and the further into his stuff I got the more I just rlly wanted to listen to it. Rlly good playlist bro, got a lot of my favs.
my favs: 1. kaliedoscope / histrionic 2. yoru no uta 3. moon demon (2013 remix kikuo miku3) 4. ufo (yufoo :) ) / searching for your love 5. ten sho 6. kara kara no kara 7. lie lie lie/ chiri chiri juso 8. aishite (it sounds too mild compared to other things hes made) 9. memories of a rainy day / cotton candy / futtorain 10. all his songs with that distinct ambience (midwinters daughter, hole dwelling, cross mark cat, cat dining table) this guy has probably experimented with every single genre in existence from eurobeat (infinite dreamer) to something as abstract as futtorain/flatline to melodic dubstep (searching for your love) hope he never stops producing.

as one who listens to kikuo on a daily basis, i should've found "The Girl Who Sells Misfortune" sooner because, like the rest of this playlist, it's a bop beyond belief
No one talks about substitute and breaking things into pieces as much as i would like, i feel like they could slightly be connected breaking things into pieces being ‘abuser’ in substitute and obviously the girl in substitute being the ‘victim’ to whatever abusive/toxic relationship going on there. Breaking things into pieces is about..breaking things into pieces that whomever the narrator(miku/kikuo) is talking about loves but in the song one of the lyrics are “ i love you who also loves me. your soul is possessing me now. My soul is possessing you now. I crumble up your precious things.” And “ I destroyed myself, so precious to you” sooo yeah uhhhh i just think they are slightly related

i searched for Kikuo's songs translations and came back TRAUMATIZED. Especially I'm Sorry, I'm Sorry.😃
Ohh...
Same
omg not that one
Ok
I came back traumatized from cotton candy. I'M NOT TELLING YOU WHAT IT'S ABOUT,FIND THAT FOR YOURSELF!
I was drawing and i just pressed on this video and started listening.
I started to recognise the songs so i continued thinking they were cute songs.
Then i turned to read the comments reading through them i looked up and read the song names.
I was a little taken back to be honest but i still really like them and yeah.
I am Russian. and I really liked the song 'Gomenne Gomenne' but then I decided to look for a translation of this song... now it scares me a lot...
As a Brazilian the feeling is very accurate
ЖИЗА
О, хоть кто то из России, а то думала что мы вымирающий вид людей
Me too but it still cool
lk a lot of people have spoken about not being able to listen to his music because of the darkness of the songs, but I actually quite like it because of that. It helps that all his songs are such a bop too
"being coddled and hidden away from such bad things. Kikuo's music is real and raw in many aspects" OMG YES
So freaking true
@@mosquitooooooo Ya. My kids are deffinetly going to grow up listening to Kikuo...if i have any. NOT COTTON CANDY THAT SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME!
@V_da_robot_overlord fr cotton candy is terrifying
@@mosquitooooooo How do people actually listen to that one more than once? For me it only took my first listen for me to know that I hated it. The mv makes it way worse. that's some horror manga type crap.
Finally I’ve heard Hole Dwelling on a playlist. By far my favorite Kikuo song.
Fr, literally feels like asmr tingles
Fuck I'm so in love with Dance Of Corpses

9:01 You're a Worthless Child
13:19 Hole-dwelling
19:31 Emptiness, Emptiness, Emptiness of mptiness..
36:29 Dance of the Corpses
My favs are Im sorry, Im sorry, Worthless child, Dont look at me like that, emptiness, emptiness, emptiness and subsitute (Dance of the corpses is rlly good but I like Kikuo's songs by their lyrics and I jsut cant grasp its meaning, and holedwelling havent seen of its eng sub)
hole dwelling is so fucking good
@@callmehpam3492there's a nicely translated english holedwelling cover here on yt, you should check it out it's really good
Hole-dwelling felt like an ASMR, wow
I know all of these. They're iconic.
if you're very knowledgeable about kikuo could i ask if you know of other songs with a svaahaa sort of vibe, im looking for those vaguely hinduist sorta vibes
Sorry, not really. 😅 Maybe try the older albums, not sure if that'll help though😬
Or maybe Mawaru has that vibe i honestly dunno
the silly way "emptiness, emptiness, emptiness of emptiness" makes my brain feel can be compared to no other feeling, oh my god i love that song :,)
eeeoe is just vocaloid penis music and its a fucking banger
you know you're a real fan of Kikuo when you know every single fucking lyric to kara kara kara no kara

4 and 6 are my favourite albums. i like 5 a lot too (sea is and MAWARU my beloved) but those r my top 2. now all kikuo songs are absolutely amazing but like i have favourites
OMG REALLY GOOD TASTE
i absolutely adore 4 and 6 they're also my favorites and i'm still getting into Miku 5 because i don't want to ditch the album that has MAWARU in it
@@hashtagmenheras OH MY GOD SAME
Kikuo songs are always popular when it has shock value or whatever,i'm still thinking that a song in KikuoMiku 4 isn't popular as the ones on other KikuoMiku songs
*KikuoMiku 1-Boku wa sonaide minaide and Tengoku e Ikou
*KikuoMiku 2-Gomenne Gomenne
*KikuoMiku 3-Aishite and Kimi wa Dekinai
*KikuoMiku 4-??The most popular song is Kaleidoscope, but it doesn't exceed to a million views,it's litterally one of the best kikuomiku albums out there
*KikuoMiku 5-Kara Kara Kara
*KikuoMiku 6-Hole-Dwelling
But anyways what you said is all true, all Kikuo songs are amazing but his best are the ones that are unpopular, like KikuoMiku 4 itself is unpopular(i kept saying it but i don't care i won't shut up about how good that album is)
Seems like other Kikuo songs that it's IN his channel doesn't even have lots of views either, just goes to show that other people doesn't do anything other than listening to his popular songs:/
@@hashtagmenheras that was explained so amazing,i really love how you can come up with themes on the albums,i have problems with it but what you just explained made me realized some stuff, thank you for that explanation on Miku 5 and 4
The dumb fun ones are absolutely my favorite,MAWARU,Keep Going!Keep Climbing!Up to The Tall Tower and Second Curse(or any Chiri Chiri Juso remixes and of course the original itself)are one of my most favorite songs by Kikuo, and yes they do be underrated.
The Miku 5 explanation you said are very true also,I mean Kara Kara is called Emptiness and it's very much different compared to the other Miku 5 songs
Do you perhaps know the themes in Miku 6 and Miku 2?I'm very much interested on your explanations
@@hashtagmenheras omg thank you so much!I enjoyed reading!I love your explanations on each songs, your Searching for your Love explanation is my most favorite it is very nice!
Also for the Miku 1 and 2,i gotta admit, that's actually true tho
Also i'm so glad you loved Miku 6 it's one of my favorite albums for Kikuo too(along with Miku 4 of course,KikuoWorld 2,the KikuoSiku and KikuoHana albums),it's a very relaxing album for me and it's very experimental.I always loved music that has a unique tune to it and also has vague lyrics that can make us question what the song's really about, again thank you so much, that was a big help for me
My favs:
(Because someone put their favorite Kikuo songs and i will do it also)
1.Welcome to The Star Inn
2.MAWARU and Nobure!Susume!Takai Tou!
3.Inside the Water and Good Night
4.Histrionic,CULT and Indecisive Us
5..Dwarf Star Fireworks and Tensho sho Tensho(Applies to the original of course and the livemixes)
6..The Great Tunnel Adventure and The Cat's Dining Table
7.Waltz of Malice,Mandala and Fun Escape at The Human Flesh Forest
8.The Girl Who Sells Misfortune and Substitute
9.Chiri Chiri Juso(2014 LiveMix)
10.Hole-Dwelling and Kara Kara Kara no Kara
(very much a fan of KikuoMiku 4 and 6 holy shit)
But you know, all and i mean *ALL* Kikuo songs are amazing, from his earliest songs from him to now,🔪🔪🔪 was the best.Even if it has distinct style you can still feel it's Kikuo.
I can recommend you,op,to listen to more of his songs and explore,i'm not forcing you but his best songs in my opinion are most likely the ones that are underrated
Edit:
Coming back to this comment i am seriously so mad at myself for having 2 kikuomiku 5 songs in here,IT SHOULD BE ALL OF THEM IN HERE DAMMIT-Like La La La Rasen No Naka is a graceful masterpiece-truly great,Oishii Tamashii is such an acid trip like MAWARU,Koshin Koshinchu have that vaporwave vibe going and i'm loving it,First Cry having sounds that are peaceful like nature(sounds like kikuoworld 3 perhaps),and Pino Polaris for having a theatrical vibe,it's so good..
This is probably my whole bias about it as one of my favorite song ever, but i think it's an insight that his music genre is very vast but still has his own unique style with it,i love the absolute hell out of it
edit 2:
I kept on coming back to this I just wanna say,ARE YA'LL A FAN OF KIKUOHANA'S WORK?And no I don't think listening to only Hitogawari and Fukouya no Musume counts(those are just popular,ya'll are missing out more incredible songs)
KIKUOHANA MY BELOVEDDD
You have no idea how much I love tracks like Nocturnality,Nobure Susume!,Seka Seka Theater,Mr.Morning Mr.Night and those two first interludes on the two Kikuohana albums
Instrumentals makes me go OH MY GOD KIKUO U'RE SO GOOD like it's amazing holy shit,it's more like a parade is happening on the aforementioned songs,I do think there's a specific genre name for this but I don't know what it's called.Don't even get me started on Wolf Man I LOVE kikuo's jazzy works(MOON DEMON MY BELOVED😔💖)
BUT WAIT?Did I only talk to Instrumentals?HANATAN'S VOICE IS HEAVENLY-Like??U want a Kikuohana song where the instrumentals back up while Hanatan's voice is the main focus of the song?THE SONG CALLED WHICH ME IS PERFECT,I cannot express how much I love the song,Hanatan's voice is beautiful.
In conclusion.Kikuohana is a godly musical duo in which we don't deserve to have😔

9. memories of a rainy day / cotton candy / futtorain
10. all his songs with that distinct ambience
(midwinters daughter, hole dwelling, cross mark cat, cat dining table)
this guy has probably experimented with every single genre in existence
from eurobeat (infinite dreamer) to something as abstract as futtorain/flatline to melodic dubstep (searching for your love)
hope he never stops producing.

i love to hear these songs when i study or relax
I love the way kiuko puts topics alot of people can relate to every time i listen i feel like someone understands it scratches my brain and makes my heart thump if i put it in a weirder way
imagine all the time he spent writing all these catchy beats and thinking about what the lyrics should be and then proceeding to make some of the most disturbing lyrics ever recorded
Lol that's probably accurate

I love how kikuo's songs are both crazy, and catchy.
AND I LOVE IT ✨❤
as one who listens to kikuo on a daily basis, i should've found "The Girl Who Sells Misfortune" sooner
because, like the rest of this playlist, it's a bop beyond belief
the playlist really is perfect, one of my favourite songs of them is cotton candy
I never realized how much songs I liked were actually from kikuo! And omg the song “hole-dwelling” is my favorite
Finally someone who features "Tengoku e Ikou" in best of playlist,, In my opinion his best song is Invitation from Spooky, Hole dweling (obviously) and ChiriChiriJuso (the live mix not the original)
