It is the pronunciation of the vowels (which are different from country-to-country) which change an accent. Not the dropping of consonants. Yes, a lot of British people pronounce "salmon" with strong "l", but it's not correct for them either. I like British accent. It's fun. I find American one is funny to pronounce for me with those "r" and "t" sounds. And British accent is easier to understand but American one to pronounce. Each one who learns English has his/her own unique English accent. Nice video!
Hey I'm from India And I really like ur video And everyday I learn a new word And everyday I watch ur videos and I'm sure that I will learn ENGLISH just like native speakers cuz of your these videos And thank u so much LOVE FROM INDIA
Americans know what the word "posh" means but we don't use it. One reason is that the word essentially means "upper class" (a "posh" accent) and Americans don't have the same class hang ups as the Brits. (And even if we did, there is no "upper class" accent, for example.) We don't think of there existing a "class" of rich people -- just people who may happen to have more money than we do! That's because we haven't been divided into peasants and lords for a thousand years. The Brits still have a hereditary nobility!
You might get a kick out of this. I looked up where the American Accent came from. It turns out that for a while there was fad practiced by the upper crust in England to enunciate words a certain way. The colonies were still subjects of the crown and this way of speaking was emulated in the colonies. In England the fad faded away over time but in what would become the USA it caught on with the larger population and evolved into what became the American Accent. Or maybe just one of them.
In india we are confused which accent to choose so we end up mixing them all.
Lol .... Same dude same

Hey there! You are from Philippines, I wanna ask you something. What's the meaning of "Suman"? 🥰🥰
Both are very unique and I’m not sure in which direction to go in terms of speaking on my channel. I’m a bit of a mix, although I was originally taught British English.
Easy to learn british accent in my opinion for indonesian people

I love British accentttt. I can easiely fall in love with a man who speaks with British accent. It's so charming
marina you are my favourite teacher in english
Yes, a lot of British people pronounce "salmon" with strong "l", but it's not correct for them either.
I like British accent. It's fun. I find American one is funny to pronounce for me with those "r" and "t" sounds. And British accent is easier to understand but American one to pronounce. Each one who learns English has his/her own unique English accent. Nice video!
Elvis Presly hahaha I totally agree with you! Though I understand better the British accent, I find the american one much easier to pronounce.
Americans to me just can't speak english, they speak just drivel, that is mostly not understandable.
Cat Ears haha It’s like brazilian portuguese and portuguese from portugal, I think all those european accents sounds sexy
I think Amarican accent sounds better

yes, we've heard the word "posh" and know what it means. We just don't ever use it.
You are amazing! Thank you so muvh for these informative clips!
