I've been following Knox Hill for 2 years (since NF Clouds dropped) and he delivers the best bars breakdown on youtube. I tried listening to Knox's songs in the past but wasn't feeling it. However, I have listened to these disses from start to finish, not just once, but multiple times! So, answering Michelle: yes the quality changed, gets me excited about what Knox might produce next, but doesn't get me excited to go check his previous work.

I firmly stand by my original statement, Knox is the nerdy kid who started rapping to keep from being beat up, imitating whomever was hot at the moment. He lacks authenticity. Period. Flip flopper to me isn’t the same as calling you fake. In my opinion it's just saying you constantly change your mind when it comes to music. For instance a politician can constantly be called a flip flopper on their politics. I think that's what Knox was speaking about.

@@MichelleShow if the songs you don't like are similar in style to the ones you do like. It definitely can be viewed as a flip flopper it's like what is so different about these songs that create 2 different opinions.
I also don't think it's just Knox talking about his songs but songs Michelle reacts to. I look at Stevie Knight for instance he will tell you he doesn't like the song, but it's not done from a place of hating just to hate. With Michelle it comes across as entertainment like he's going to bash songs just for views. Some people come here just for that reason. It's similar to an actor constantly getting 1 character and never expanding their reach as an actor. That isn't a negative or positive thing because you will always have work and just won't get the accolades that come with that work.

The diss track on Dotta had meaning, it was structured and served a purpose, held a point, it told a story. Music isn't just about sounding good and making references. Meaningless is an insult because meaning is so important, and art without meaning is garbage. Maybe if you spent less time watching fake reacters you'd know something about that.
I think people who take the internet too seriously don’t understand that it’s not that serious - we’re not in tribal days where “rejection” meant leaving you to starve in the cold. I’ve really enjoyed the battles with Knox / Dotta / Ren but people have gotten weirdly tribalistic over it, and I think Knox is making that mistake here. I have to say MichelleShow has been balanced in his praise and his criticism of all the songs, and as a long-time Knox follower, his disses were leagues above some of his other music. I think he’s really good at rising to a challenge, and dissing is a good outlet for his competitive energy - he’s also learned a lot from the music he reacts to, you can clearly see the influence Ren had on Killshot. It’s all part of growing 🤷🏻♀️

The first video I saw from you was a Knox Hill video, and the only advice you could give was "get better at everything, everything is trash" and "just stop rapping, you have no potential."
There was no nuance to the criticism or genuine advice. That's where I gained the opinion that you were just hating to hate. I don't care if our opinions differ. That's life. I did have a problem when three videos I saw from you in a row was you giving the "advice" of just "do better" without any specifics on how to improve.
While I still don't agree with the above, I don't judge people on a single thing, and therefore my opinion has changed since I've seen a different side of you. So, I can see where he would get that opinion initially. It's definitely just from a place of misunderstanding.
There are other channels (I will not name but he's beefed with them on here too) who try to copy what MichelleShow does but they don't understand the nuance and the whole point of the MichelleShow is realness. The copycats are fake haters who hate on anything just for clicks but MichelleShow keeps it real and half his channels is reacting to stuff he actually likes so he's really only a hater when he needs to be.

Where I see the issue is, on dottas diss. You was saying that he is the best and that knox shouldn't even reply because he can't hold a candle to him. I had only listened to 2 KH songs before his Dotta disses. His tone (if that is the right word) wasn't for me; I couldn't understand what he was saying. And I need reactors to explain his bars to me. But I agree that his two KD disses were really good -- and I could actually make out what he was saying in those songs.

I watched this video yesterday, and when this part came up, I immediately knew, he f'd up. It expoeses despite everything he says on his channel, he is NOT battle rap tested, or Knox Hill certified. Now, that he did this, every hatd bar is going to sound like a pop-tart. When you watch Ren vs. Knox, you can clearly see the difference in how a professional and an amateur carry on after a rap battle. I have no choice, I have to give this one to Michelle. Knox Hill, unfortunately, does not have a future in battle rap, no matte,r how good the bars are. if he can't keep his feelings in check.. There is no future in this, for Knox. I don't necessary care for battle rap, but I do heavily enjoy watching your honest and harsh comdedic commentary. On to the next one.

Knox is the best breakdown channel ever. He can also rap really well, but I do not like the style so much. He just doesn't have that special type of swag that's needed for me. I think he would be a great battle rapper though.

Remember, every song Knox breaks down, rap or otherwise is “Knox Hill Certified”. So when another reactor actually judges whether a rap is good or not, they are automatically classified as a “hater”. 😂 Love Knox’s breakdowns cause they help see the shine even in raps that aren’t so good. But sometimes I like reactions that cut the BS… that’s Michelle.
Never been into rap - though there have been some songs where I've been able to appreciate the writing/music. With this whole Dotta/Ren/Knox/(& yourself) 'thing', I've learnt a bit more about the genre - especially rap battles, and have a better appreciation of what rap is. I'm still not a rap fan but I do now understand it a bit more than previously. I don't think I'm alone with that. That's a plus for me.
With regards your channel, I had watched your original reaction to 'Hi Ren' - (because I've watched most reactions to 'Hi Ren') and didn't 'get' you (and again, I suspect I'm not the only one). However, watching your videos on this whole scenario, I now feel like I 'get' your channel and what it is that you do, and I found your Ren & Knox diss reactions to be pretty funny. I'm not gonna be subscribing but it was good to see that you can take it, as well as give it out. Not everyone can - even when things are obviously said in jest. Kudos to you for that.
I don't think anyone involved has lost out with this whole thing - everyone has picked up views, new fans/subscribers and/or, at least, some respect from new directions. Can't be too many times where everybody involved wins to at least some degree. I hope it all eventually comes to something like an amicable conclusion....(somehow!).

The difference between Knox Hill when he's not battling is that he does try what Eminem does, which is try to punchline in every single bar, so a lot of those bars come off as daddy jokes or cringe. When he's battling, he's coming off with facts and only selecting good punchlines to deliver, you can tell there's a filter.

@@LeonCamero When I first heard it, before ever hearing of Ren, the first bit of the song took me back too, but I listened to the whole thing. I was so glad I did. I'm not saying it's for everybody, or that Ren is for everybody. But, if you say you judge fairly but don't even listen to the song, how is that fair?

Knox hill pen definitely changed 😂😂 but its more of his delivery he over do the cadence or aggression to his vocals at times. So on these tracks they laid back so it sounds way better
btw you should go full time on yt, youre already having some nice growth recently and you can accelerate it.
