Oh boy are you in for a treat when you start looking at some modern micros like the ESP's, the Pico, the STM's and the Arduino's.

Please do this it’s definitely a good idea I am always super frustrated when I see all these people completing projects with what seems like ease. And even though I know they have their tough times ofc we never see them so doing this is an excellent idea

Loved the video. I didn't record it but I went through something like this about 20 years ago after realizing that I might want to go into IOT. When IOT wasn't really a thing yet.
