We just recently purchased 17 1/2 acres to start our new Homestead. We believe it's very important to teach our children how to work together as a team.
Teaching the kids how to be responsible on our small Urban Homestead.

When my son was 5 he was hit by a car. We ran to him. He was gray already. I knew his legs were broken because his feet were going the wrong way but I knew that could be fixed. His color is what I feared possible internal injuries. I can clearly remember kneeling at his side and looking up to the sky and saying to God please do t take my little boy, he’s too little do nt take my boy. He was hospitalized for 3 weeks. Body cast and thrived into a beautiful loving funny man. On 4/9 the world lost Matt to colon cancer. He was 49. We had him 44 more years. What a blessing God gave us. He was so brave and had such faith, without a doubt he got his Angel wings that day. 😇🦋😇

Good girl Brailey. I was a swimming teacher for 16 years. Watching your daughter in the video tells me that someone has taught this baby something about swimming. If she hadn't been taught , she would not have survived. Watch how she keeps fighting and does get to the steps by herself. I wish someone like me could have talked you through this video. You have blamed yourselves all this time . She knew what to do. She never panicked. I hope I take some of your blame away. See if you can watch the video again and see it through my eyes.
God just reached his hand down and gently pushed her back to the steps. Thank God he is faithful to go before us and go where we cant. I pray this video will fall into the hands of those that need it. So glad you all have a happy ending.
Yes he did a miracle for our family. I sure hope it helps someone along the way we’ve had this video for three or four months debating whether or not to post it. It is hard going through all these comments but if it will save a little one it’s all worth it

I truly believe God rewards his faithful. You changed your life, you are a great father, a public servant that puts your own life on the line for others, and you love God. Forgive yourself and definitely forgive your wife because there was no way for her to know that gate was open. I believe you realize that now and have forgiven her. I love following yalls journey. We near lost a nephew 6 years ago in OKC to drowning. He spent 2 days in hospital. It was close.
A few more seconds in the water would have been a different outcome.
It only takes a few seconds and can happen to anyone, anytime. Thanking God again.

When our son was 5 years old, we were at a state park that had a swimming lake. We were all at the picnic table I THOUGHT. I turned around and our son was gone. He had walked out in the lake and was in water above his head. I could see his arms waving in the air, and someone going to get him. I froze and could not move. I'll never forget this day; he is 46 years old now. Thank you for sharing this video. I also had a brother who was an alcoholic. Sadly, he never sought help and died from liver disease. You are truly a blessed family. God is great.

I'm a 61 year old Paw Paw 9 grandbabies and a beautiful wife of 36 years but right now my eyes are full of water from crying watching that video of your baby girl in the pool but I do believe God put his hand there and pull her out give further strengthen the knowledge to pull herself out of the water because he has better things for her to do with her life and I want to thank you for sharing this maybe there's somebody out there who's a little worse off than y'all who needed to see this God bless you and your family and I pray that you let this go just give it to the Lord and let him take it from you

My grand daughter fell in a pool thank God we found her floating in time ,she went to hospital for one day but all good.
She's definitely a fighter. She looked like she wasn't going to give up.

I am thankful that when my daughter fell in trying to throw her duck floaty in the pool her brother was older. He jumped over the side of the pool faster than I could climb the ladder to try and get her. I am sorry that you all had to go through that. She is meant to do great things. God was with her.

God was watching over your beautiful daughter that day the other children were to young to comprehend what was really happening.
It's very fortunate that your precious little girl was spared from death. During the lomaprieda earthquake of 1989 near Santa Cruz, California, I lost my baby son. On October 14th 2012 I lost my wife of 38 years to a heart attack. I'm now 65 and am all alone. Every day I think of them both and miss them terribly.
The good Lord Gave her wings guys the only only reason she’s here is her unwillingness to give up and God giving that little girl wings. God Bless my OK Family.

I know this was gut wrenching to share. PTSD is real and can be caused by any trauma. Thank you for sharing. You may have helped someone else going through this or made someone secure their pool area even more to prevent an accident. Love your tender hearts. 💕

Brandon i have watched this video 4 times and still crying. I don't know what to say i am totally with out words but god was there and he saved her for a reason. My heart is completely with you two. The Lord is with us always!!! I had a dream when my son was 4 that he was going to get hit by a car! I had to work that day and I begged my husband to not let him go up to the road At All that day!! That Very Day another little boy was hit by a car and it took 3 years for him to get back to normal!!! This is only 1 of Many times that God has shown his Love to my children and I!!!

I just seen this video for the first time , it reminded me of our granddaughter she almost drowned when she was four , she fell in the pool and she didn’t know how to swim that she keep going under water and God told her what to do that ever time she came up to take a deep breath and her mommy was coming soon she keep doing what God told her to do and then her mom came out to tell her it was time for dinner and then she found her in the pool and jumped in to safe her . She told her mom what God told her to do . God is good.
Brandon the lord does work in mysterious ways. I lost my parents when I was not that old i have lost both my brothers and a wife i am 63 and never as good as any of them. Maybe we are here for a reason. Chris from England.

Darling all you can do is pray over your children daily. Accidents will happen no matter if you have your eyes on them 24/7 or not. The both of you are doing the best you can and I am proud of you for all you are doing. Just keep trying and let God handle the scary stuff

Im so pleased she is ok. When I was in school and about 13, I went swimming for the first time in school and because I was scared to get into the water a teacher pushed me in it was really scarey, I used to make excuses to my Mum so she would write a letter to say I couldnt go swimming, Then she was talking to a nurse friend of the family who said that I shouldnt have gone swimming anyway not without earplugs as I had a perforated eardrum when I was 9, so after that I never had to go again, thank goodness. July 13 2003, our 3 yr. old grandson Jericho James, drowned in our creek. The loss and emotional pain was unbearable. We then lost his mother, Stacey in a car accident Feb. 5, 2006. The hole in my chest where my heart used to be, will never heal. You were truly blessed the day little Braylie climbed up the ladder and out of the pool💕💕
I also recently started watching the Smiths. The first video I watched was one of his wife's arise videos. Just randomly picked it and it was meant for me to see it. When we lost our 23 yr son my, husband had guilt for a couple years. God got us through. God is watching over you. Bless your family!

Do not be so hard on yourself You all are extremely lucky, I had a pool once too i had custody of my grandson at the time who was 4, I had 2 alarms on the ladder and made sure I taught him how to swim & float lay on your back & grab your ankles you'll float every time.

We had been with an Auntie getting looked after while my mother had taken my brother to the hospital. In that time my twin brother had been standing at a gate with my cousin. A person walking past opend the gate thinking it was where they lived. In the yard they entered a pool Micheal was 28 months old when he past away from drowning. I miss that part of me in my life my mum never forgave herself not being there.😢

So important to share your story seconds can change a life. My grandson stepped off the deep end luckily my son jumped the fence & pulled him out. He learned to swim the next day.

We lost our 18 year old son 36 years ago to a drowning accident in a bay of Kentucky Lake and he knew how to swim. He was with a group of friends I had a lot of why and ifs. God never gives us more than we can bear just lean on him and he will bring you through
God works in ways we don't understand He was with her and sent angels to help her. He is telling you both to forgive each other and to let it go. My heart goes out to you both and the kids. It is devastating when we cannot control when our babies are facing life or death situations. Holding on to our Faith is what will carry us through. My son was working and ask a friend to take him to the Emergency Room, just being dropped off and going into a coma within minutes of arriving at the hospital.... He was in a coma for 5 weeks with his major organs shutting down.
i have cancer and we feeling down thank god she is still with you guy love you all your cancer fam lol

Praise God for Miracles! Many years ago, my little sister, who was about 18 months old, fell into our pool. My 6 year old sister screamed, then froze. My oldest sister, who was 10, heard her scream and went running outside. She saw my little sister floating face down and not moving. Penny, my oldest sister, scooped her out of the pool and went running into the house to give her to my mom. My little sister Heidi was crying by the time Penny gave her to my mom. After Penny told my mom what had happened, and my mom laid her on the bed to get her wet clothes off, Heidi threw up a lot of water. Her eyes rolled back in her head, her lips turned purple, and she stopped breathing. My mom, being a nurse aid, knew exactly what to do and was able to revive her. Praise God Heidi is still with us and has a granddaughter who is now about the same age Heidi was 60 plus years ago. Thank you for sharing such a traumatic event in your life. Hopefully, this will inspire others to know CPR and other urgently needed treatments that will save lives. My sister Penny ended up becoming an Emergency Room Register Nurse and retired after 31 years helping others in need of urgent care. God does have plans for our lives. We just need to have ears to hear and listen to that still small voice.
