I wasn't expecting this to be my favorite fight from the movie ngl. I was expecting Hassan vs Gawain to take that spot ngl.
Idk if Gawain or Bedivere is my favorite Kotr ngl.

That fight had no substance, from a choreographical & emotional standpoint. It was literally just, "look, I take no damage. Oki bye!" Even in the game it was just a bland showcase of a Grand Servant's power.
@@tronovonflidder775 I mean the substance is that Gawain is being trailed for the murder of his fellow companions, with his uncompromising loyalty earning him "forgiveness".
Honestly probalaly my favorite fate fight in general, may not compare to Ufotable's animation but the sheer amount of emotion between Gawain and Bedivere was great. Also with how it's a constant struggle for both sides trying their best to win.

Ufotable up until now never managed to deliver the emotions the fights in Fate require. They are too flashy and play simply on the cool factor.
The ones in this movie however delivered everything I was seeking in a Fate fight, the raw bloody combat, the emotions delivered by each character fighting for something, the voice acting, the facial expressions, desperation, anger, fear and especially the VISIBLE CHOREOGRAPHY OF REAL LIFE COMBAT. These fights truly are my favorite in this franchise period. I've never seen someone halfswording in an anime until this fight.
The comparison is simple:
Ufotable is to Fate what James Cameron is to cinema: it will deliver high production values, lot's of cool action, but its kind of souless.
Camelot's second movie, or Aphocripha's last 3 episodes, have more soul than anything Ufo produced for the Fate franchise.
Ufotable just sucks at storytelling and on art direction they are the epitome of 'more is less'.
Even Deen's UBW movie has better direction than Ufo's own UBW series.
This is the most hypest and best fight in the Camelot movies
That dead end Agateram punch he looks like he's going PLUS ULTRA!!!
If only the animators actually knew what it does and didn't mess up the basics..... as usual

@@emina9570 dead end Airgetlam is a high powered slash cut that he does with his arm. It is certainly not a powered fist which does nothing but embarass Bedivere.
Switch on Airgetlam is the activation of his arm which gives him servant stats and nullified the gifts of the lion king. It DOES NOT help him stand against the NPs of the Knights

I felt more emotion in this fight than in all the fights with lights of ufotable, also the soundtrack it has is one of the best in the saga🐐
This is still a better movie than solomon 😃

Its the best fight in both the movies of camelot
As for moments
The lion king vs bedi (when they find out that he is only a human abd he returns sword just hits the spot well)
And the noble phantasm of Arash was also peak stuff
Now I'm waiting for the last battle with the Lion King, Lancer Artoria

Just for clarification, Gawain gets a massive boost while he's under the sun
And despite being in a room where the sun dont shine, he eats an entire axe strike to the face.

@@mythgravenn since he was inside the castle he didn't have the sun thing either and galatine doesn't make a difference since he got struck by the halberd anyway. Besides switch on Airgetlam nullified the sun amp anyway.

Lol bedivere got that plot Armor.
He's technically immortal so... I don't think anything could've killed him, even Goddess Rhongomyniad to be technical about it. So unless literally having Excalibur keeping you alive for more than 1500 years AND keeping you immortal as literally told through every previous iteration of the blade in prior works within the series counts as "Plot Armor", I don't understand. The term "Plot Armor" comes from the concept of the "hero that cannot die because plot cannot continue without them", so unless the story has a specific reason (like Excalibur for example), it's not technically Plot Armor.
Everyone has Plot Armor if you want to be serious about it because at any single point in this entire series Goddess Rhongomyniad could have killed literally everyone, she has more than enough power to step off of his throne and literally wipe everyone out without any issue whatsoever. Actually, could've used Judgement at the gate and annihilated any possible threat to his plan.
But if that happened, there wouldn't be a plot so..
@@mitrikgaduk347 he's not immortal lol. What kind of nonsense is that? Every use of the arm eats a part of his soul. He was basically Shirou in the heavens feel VN. At this point of the fight, he should have been a walking zombie due to how many times he already used it. So it would have been a one-sided fight in Gawain's favor.
Excalibur only gives partial immortality that means you will not age. However you can very much be killed in battle or through assassination.
Also, he uses Arash's knife which should technically not exist since it's a product of Arash's magical energy and Arash died a movie ago.
Lastly he is human. So all the stab wounds he gets in this fight should have killed him or caused him to bleed out since they target his stomach, spleen and vital organs.
It's all plot Armor for Bedivere
