Have a JVC R-X220 LR stereo receiver bought it back in1983 I believe started off one side no sound now no sound? what do you think it could be? I am ready to go buy a new system.m
I have the same model, mine needs a belt for the tape deck, do you know if its 1 belt or more, looking with the flashlight i can see it only has one motor. trying to avoid taking it apart all the way, because its likely to lose parts before a belt arrives in the mail. if you don't know then i'll tear it down all the way and figure it out.
Hi 12voltvids, I truly love your channel on youtube and I hate how they have conned you out of money, I wiuld forgive anyone for one mistake but to make the same mistake twice is a bit too much, I think it's time they paid you for at least the second mistake, it is just not the right way to treat anyone, I would love to pay you for your videos but I was conned out of a heck of a lot of money by a lady I trusted and left me with nothing, that is my only reason for not joining you on youtube. You truly do wonderful work and I love when you fis the new type stereo systems, I know you do not like them but it is what I am getting into, keep up the good work as I think a lot about the work you do.
paul kirugu OK if it is not reading the CDs it could be dust on the laser lens, that is the first thing to check. If not that, it could be the spindle motor, or even the laser is shot, or one of the disk detection sensors is not working properly. As to the power amp blowing that can only be caused by a few things. A short circuit on the speaker terminals, or wires, or a shorted speaker could cause that. Possible a power supply problem.
you can spray a plsticspray inside the Inductance on your neon tube. the HiFi have a Cold Solder Pad. This is a development and patented by Philips th inventor of the Cold Solder Pad Funny you said - this sounds like "Daft Punk" and before the Copyright Guys are telling something then you remove a Copy from this CD out of the Compact Stereo - hahahaha
You fix people’s electronics but you don’t fix your own ? 👈😅🤣🤣the same thing happened to me I am a plumber and sometimes I don’t want to fix my own toilet or faucets 🚽🚰🛀👈😅😂🤣

Hello and thank you. Helpful vid. I was expecting several bridge connections. How did you (1) avoid? and (2) correct or eliminate?
Thanks again
Careful solder work to avoid. If it happens it is usually easy to correct. Add some flux, use solder braid to remove excess.
hows the plasma?? been seing that tv on your vids. love ur channel
nice work. the l in solder is silent.
Wouldn't a heat sink have alleviated the chances of the solder connections melting? Couldn't they have put one in?

thx for your fixit videos!
what is that noise like hair trimer
I talked about that at the beginning before I turned the noisy studio light on. The ballast was very noisy.
Yes I heard that after I already was sent the message .
Just fixed similar model with a single 3 disc loader
Much simpler design and only one loading belt.
I like it Eric weiedo

I fix the stuff I use. Eventually, when it totally breaks.
