If I drive at 13psi, will my Prado's tires pop out.
I do not have bead locks..pls advise.

That’s fine. Just avoid sharp turns and jumps. Beadlocks are made to go down even lower, up till 6psi. Btw, your starting psi also depends on the tyre make and the specifications. For example: BFGoodrich are the hardest tires (best for rocks worst for sand) with the hardest side walls, they need to be lowered even more, around, 12/11psi for the weight of Prado. The profile of tire also decides what psi can it take before popping out. Am assuming your tyre would be 265/65R17?!

      @@torqueconverter yes 265/65/R17 Bridgestone..
I went down to 13. Marshal warned that it can cause popout and I should drive at 15.
I noticed that driving at 13 was really delightful. I did not get stuck even once...I could see others driving at 15 or 16 and really struggling.

@@kanevivalakane3699 I mentioned in one of my videos that starting at lower psi gives a confident start, but there’s also a risk of pop out. Pop out chances are higher with new drivers. So pls avoid sharp turns and jumps. Once you practice this you would always love lower psi. I drive at 11/10.

Not actually. Off-roading in desert is more a function of skill than just power of the car
