I'm loving this series it's so interesting informative and relaxing. I sometimes just wish the videos could be even longer though lol. Your graphics in editing showing clearly which tiles you are talking about is so good and looks so professional :)
Whatever you did with the audio, it's very good. Your early episodes had in-game commentary (but not post-game) come a little from the left. It seems balanced now.
Is there a discord server or any place people discuss mastery-oriented minesweeper? Also, do any of the top players have the habit to sometimes stream some gameplay?
Hello there. Thank you for the commentary, I find it very insightful. I'm currently trying to replace my intermediate mastery record. Unfortunately, to do that I need to get the expert mastery to at least 54. I'm currently at 43 (45 but bad luck happens).
I usually like to try to find the minimum mines used to clear the board when there are few mines left. And if it doesnt match the amount of mines actually left i play with the knowledge that there are that many mine maximising spots.
I think most people stick with expert games when doing world records, but I do wonder if anyone attempts the other difficulties as well. I think beginner is much too small, however, and can be solved with only a few clicks if you are lucky.
I always go for a warmout in intermediate before recording, so if I'm particularly lucky I might go for an intermediate episode. I wouldn't do regularely tho because guessing spots are very few on intermediate
red flags everywhere bro

Scar used to stream minesweeper, maybe he still does. As for discord I don't think so but I may be wrong

How many hints are you allowed? I always forget it’s even an option.

@@MineBuoy alright
Maybe without hint it could be interesting do a "spinoff highlights series"
I guess the takeaway here is that if something cool happens in intermediate, we want to see it :)
how do you record the vids? the cursor movement looks....off
Its just a replay feature on minesweeper.online
I was thinking the same thing and I think the recording just takes the clicks and then moves the mouse between each click. It interpolates it
