I think one of the interesting things about the Sanchez's is how much more powerful they get when theyre alone. Evil Morty, Doofus Jerry, hell, even Space Beth. In a very messed up way, theyre holding each other back.
Rick never wanted to be a god. To think that is to wholly misunderstand hiw whole character. He only wished to others to think of him as one so that they would comply with every need of his, including mostly helping him find prime. That was his final objective. I'm surprised Rick hasn't killed himself after he finally got him, since he showed multiple times to have never planned anything after doing that, and has many times showed will to die or to just give up on everything he had with Prime morty.
I’d say that Rick still considers himself a God of the universe and someone that can traverse the multiverse, but because of the multiverse having other Rick’s just being the “Rickest Rick” isn’t gonna make him a God of the multiverse but being as a Morty can do everything better than any other Rick he is more of a God over the multiverse and knows his way around that stuff whereas Rick sticks to his domain.

I think its less that Rick "Thought of himself as a God and then descended" and more so that he wanted to be a God-Killer. Prime Rick was a God. C-137 wanted to kill a God. And once that opportunity was placed before him, he didnt really need any more power anymore. Everything he did, every step, word and kill he had to his name, had led up to that moment. Nothing mattered anymore.
I would say it doesn't care for the omega device because he can still create one by himself like he did with the portail travel machine . I think one of the interesting things about the Sanchez's is how much more powerful they get when theyre alone. Evil Morty, Doofus Jerry, hell, even Space Beth. In a very messed up way, theyre holding each other back.
Rick never wanted to be a god. To think that is to wholly misunderstand hiw whole character. He only wished to others to think of him as one so that they would comply with every need of his, including mostly helping him find prime. That was his final objective. I'm surprised Rick hasn't killed himself after he finally got him, since he showed multiple times to have never planned anything after doing that, and has many times showed will to die or to just give up on everything he had with Prime morty.
I’d say that Rick still considers himself a God of the universe and someone that can traverse the multiverse, but because of the multiverse having other Rick’s just being the “Rickest Rick” isn’t gonna make him a God of the multiverse but being as a Morty can do everything better than any other Rick he is more of a God over the multiverse and knows his way around that stuff whereas Rick sticks to his domain.
I’m gonna say it, Roiland would not have been able to pull off the same performance of Rick Prime as Ian Cardoni. His delivery, his rage, his emotion, it just screamed “The Rickest Rick,” and I really hope we get more of him in the future, even if it’s just through flashbacks or something.

Evil Morty just wants to be left alone and he knows he wouldn’t have peace with Rick just mass scanning the multiverse for Rick Prime so he helps him. He knows Rick doesn’t really care about the Omega Device and he knows he should leave the kill to Rick. He knows that once our Rick kills off Prime Rick he would stop causing a mess in the multiverse. Also Morty only wanting to be left alone just didn’t like the threat of the Omega Device being used against him. He himself wouldn’t use it against anyone else because he doesn’t want the entire Rick incident to happen again where Ricks just run around trying to avenge his loved one.
I saw a comment based around how “Prime” Rick is just an accumulation of other stolen knowledge from the other Rick’s and I have to add my opinion now because that concept is interesting. Evil Morty doesn’t have any smarter Morty’s to steal information from. He is a special entity because he does not need to take the influence and intellect of his multiverse counterparts to understand and adapt to his surroundings. Evil Morty is smarter than the smartest Rick because he is the only person in the show’s universe that doesn’t need to gain knowledge from others but innately possesses it within himself. Most people are smart cus they have the ability to learn. Morty is smarter because he already knows.

I don’t think that Rick wanted to be a god in the first place. His main goal was to revenge Rick Prime, not World domination or anything.
Besides, even if Prime didn’t show up in C-137 universe, Rick would eventually finish his science career and focus on his family. That makes him special: for him, science is only a tool and family is the most important thing.
Also, Evil Morty became this smart partly because of Ricks helping and teaching him

Bro the whole reason evil Morty is smarter than Rick is because he finally stopped kissing Rick's ass. He realized how much he could be from what he's learned from doing ricks bidding. He has ambition, grit, nothing to lose, and everything to gain. He's a force to be reckoned with just from this takeaway alone. He's been outside the central finite curve, he's been over the threshold of "prison" ricks have put Morty's in. He's seen the true universe, and seen the things Rick may have. He's 14 and has his entire life in front of him to learn everything he can.

The point is that the central finite curve isolates all of the universes in which Rick is the smartest man in the universe, from the ones where he isn't; bringing a limitless amount of universes down to central finite amount of them (which is still technically an infinite amount of them but it's categorically a smaller infinity) where Rick reigns supreme

I think its less that Rick "Thought of himself as a God and then descended" and more so that he wanted to be a God-Killer. Prime Rick was a God. C-137 wanted to kill a God. And once that opportunity was placed before him, he didnt really need any more power anymore. Everything he did, every step, word and kill he had to his name, had led up to that moment. Nothing mattered anymore.

Evil morty doesn’t have attachments which is a big reason why Rick and many of the ricks are held back due to this. Doesn’t help that Evil morty has been getting smarter whether it’s through his own development or literally using cybernetics or science to literally make himself smarter.
He isn’t “smarter.” At a certain technological point you’re just a killable god. Rick has an ego that evil morty does not. So his actions reflect that and he appears “smarter,” but he’s really just making better decisions to achieve the same outcome .
