Pedro’s way of learning lines weirdly actually makes a lot of sense to me, I feel like if I were an actor that’d be how I’d be able to remember them too
The scene between Sarah Snook and Matthew MacFadyen on the balcony was reminiscent of Burton and Taylor going hammer and tongs in Who’s afraid of Virginia Wolf.
i love the energy all four of them are sharing with each other! it's so warm and filled with genuine mutual respect! also, Matthew kept referencing the 'something on your shirt' and 'touch your lips' bit till the end of the video! Delightful and hilarious.
I just started taking acting classes and I am very glad the moderator asked the "how do you actually learn your lines" question. Feels good knowing even professional, famous actors still forget them sometimes!
Congrats to pedro pascal for landing the role of reed richards in the upcoming fantastic four movie! Now he is in all major franchises, DC, star wars, and now marvel
Great interview with these guys. I watched for Pedro who absolutely broke my heart with the beautiful way he brought Joel to life. I was not a fan of TLOU video game but the show was incredible. As a screenwriter, I would love to sit down and chat with Pedro about so many topics. Most of all I just want to say thank to him for being so incredible as Joel Miller, Mando, Javi, etc. He is an inspiration to me as a writer, I hope one day my script can be held in his hands as it would be an honor.
All of these men are very talented and charismatic. The interview is phenomenal! it is interesting to learn about the world of acting, how their characters develop and some techniques they use when interpreting 💕
What a bunch of awesome inspiring people. I'm not an actor, just an aspiring singer/songwriter, but I always find actors to be the most inspiring people to listen to. It is such a fricking grind. The amount of practical, physical, mental and emotional work that goes into their work is mind blowing to me. Having to adapt to so many different circumstances, empathise with so many different characters. Just sitting and listening to what actors have to do kind of motivates me to just keep going and trying when I start to feel invisible or what I'm doing feels futile. Really glad I took the time to watch.
I don't think Kieran understood Scott's question. Scott did not ask "why" do you learn your lines, he asked "how" which is a huge difference and will be a much different answer. I am pretty sure ALL actors learn their lines because it's their job. That is a great question that a lot of actors would like to hear. Great interview to all and Scott.
Remembering lines isnt ‘just part of the job’, kieran. It’s really really hard for some ppl. I gave up acting as a teen literally because I had a fear of forgetting lines.
Billy Crudup’s career is such a mystery to me. Incredibly talented, very good looking, and then… crickets FOR YEARS. It has got to be of his own accord bc I just cannot comprehend someone hitting all the checkmarks not being everywhere/huge.
There's been so many memes about Pedro dressing like Mr Darcy at the SAG awards that I saw this interview & was like "oh cool an interview with the Darcies" 😂😂😂
Keiran and Pedro are such an iconic duo now
pedro and kieran are so bestie coded 😭
20:58 is when Pedro starts talking about memorizing lines
I love the relationship between Pedro and Kieran! The teasing and mutual admiration is clear.
i hope Pedro win this time.He deserves it so much
He won!! I am crying😂

I want Pedro to play an incompetent lawyer with the most beautiful hair in the world.
Or a doctor with the. most beautiful curls in the world.
No I want him to play a ruthless lawyer with the most beautiful hair in the world
Matthew MacFadyen is such a gem, omg. The more I see him the more I think he's such a genuine dude. So eloquent, kind
Matthew is the love of my life.
"I'm the Unabomber" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love Pedro.
Great conversation.

This particular panel is "Lightning in a bottle" with Pedro as MVP for that running gag.
Thanks to Joyce and Chris for the recommendation.
All actors with a strong theater background, too. Great panel.
Congrats to pedro pascal for landing the role of reed richards in the upcoming fantastic four movie! Now he is in all major franchises, DC, star wars, and now marvel
Every time I now see Billy Crudup, I can’t stop picturing Tig Notaro getting all giggly, man-crushing on him badly. 😅
This was fun. Billy's a delight, and, of course, Pedro is a beacon of light everywhere he goes. Great panel! 👌🏾
💜 The subtle brilliance of Pedro Pascal!! And that's that on that!! Love this!!
Pedro pulling Matthew's and Kieran's legs was so funny.
I really love listening to intelligent, thoughtful actors speak about their craft.

Pedro is a mad man for it, but hey, everyone has their own way of learning. Awesome!

Pedro pascal 👏👏👏
pedro's joel miller gave me SO many *realizations* (he forever altered my brain chemistry)
Pedro is so articulate and gorgeous
Amazing ❤ also, this group has to be, for me, 4 of the top 5 actors of our generation.
Matthew the best🤩
Such a great moderator and conversation love these guys and can’t wait to see what comes next for each :)
Geniuses all, wish there were more episodes of this!
What a treat!! I am eating up Pedro interviews.
Remembering lines isnt ‘just part of the job’, kieran. It’s really really hard for some ppl. I gave up acting as a teen literally because I had a fear of forgetting lines.
I still dont get pedro’s technique. Then u have to remember a list of letters?
Thank u scott for asking pedro which character he misses the most, because I would have been left wondering.
Yeahhh...so true..even me too....His voice like Addicted to me❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
All these actors are amazing.
i love you matthew macfayden
Pedro being real with the messy bed head. Sorry, he won my heart.
Billy Crudup’s career is such a mystery to me. Incredibly talented, very good looking, and then… crickets FOR YEARS. It has got to be of his own accord bc I just cannot comprehend someone hitting all the checkmarks not being everywhere/huge.
Culkin would make such a great Bond villain!💘💘💘👌👸
