The best thing about you omar is that you never stop trying and learning! Clearly photography is something you love and passionate about! Thank you for the inspiration!
Great video Omar. We need more of these. And stop selling yourself short. I do product photography and everything you've stated is part of the journey. Good job.
Smae here. Composition in my mind varies vastly with thr shot I end up creating based on what looks good on the camera 😀 layering and color coordination works best for me.
Fun video! The rig set up is definitely an experiment I'll try out, and I really like your final image of alpinist green watch--it's what sold me on the product, and the assignment. Thanks for the video. J
I have been struggling with this kind of photography the past couple weeks, since my wife started an import/export make up online shop. I have zero lights, so I'm waiting on window sunlight for most of my life. I have never hated clouds so much. They way you're doing it looks way more fun. 😂
You said: "It's 30% camera settings & lighting, and 99% styling"... We always knew that you give your all to this channel - in fact you're doing 129%!! Keep it up :)
Great video!! I’ve been wanting to experiment with “watch photography” and “toy photography” for a while, and this has given me some great ideas! I’m so jealous of your Sideshow/Hot Toys collection!
Nice tutorial Omar, I just got a K&F tripod (KF-TM2534T) which has the adjustable center column for overhead shots, I’m going to try your technique with my $38.00 Casio G-Shock. I like your math, 30-99% (LOL).
Great video Omar! That app to find complimentary colors is awesome. I’m also the same way, where I can’t pre visualize the product shots, I have to just setup the image and take a bunch of photos and adjust as I go. Also your overhead rig is badass 🔥
Love that I found another watch fan. Was watching your videos yesterday and saw your Islander and now a SARB033 & Alpinist? Awesome! What size Islander is that, BTW? I've been going back and forth on which to get at 38mm.
Hahaha as soon as I saw the Alpinist, the Islander, the Padi Pepsi dial and that DW6500 on his wrist I was hooked. And the dude rides a RE! But I did actually come away with some solid ideas for shooting my new San Martin SN004-g👍
Your are the land far far away!!! Pffff! 😝 Actually i have some time in the evenings and planned tonnage a little series of some old vintage lenses. Thanks for your tips. They come really handy. Perhaps i try to get some weird foreign money dollar things....
Nice taste in watches and cameras my brother from a different mother! I'll have to disown you because of the superheroes tho ;) I see you also have the problem with dust on the watches. Although almost invisible to an eye, the camera is sure as hell going to catch every microscopic speck and make them bright like stars on the sky.
Good stuff as always. I would suggest to also get some extenders and get really close to your objects, especially with watches to bring those close-up details on dials etc
On one of the last pics of the green watch, I could see your fingerprint on it. Cool shots. Never tried any product photos, not sure I have the patience for it.
Wwwhhaat!! You're a really watch addict! Ahahah i own a youtube watch related channel and i do the same things every day for my instagram page. You'r a seiko lover mate! Congrats!
Thank you! I actually love doing this kind of photography and was thinking about doing more of this to get started for my channel. So which camera did you use to video yourself putting things together? And voiceover? You've probably covered it somewhere else but I'm still catching up! Always love your commentary, that's what makes you interesting, unique and funny! Does your family think your as funny as I think you are? ;)
Just an excuse to show off your watches... but seriously, I do like your watch choices. I’m on that never ending journey through sub-1000 usd watches myself 😉
60$ for that color thing ?? I mean, I know you got it for free and have to promote it but that is silly when you can get apps for 90% cheaper and use your phone camera. 😑
Very helpful and some killer shots! It wasn't until I bought my first watch that I realized how bad at product photography I was. Haha.
The best thing about you omar is that you never stop trying and learning! Clearly photography is something you love and passionate about! Thank you for the inspiration!
Nice watch collection !
Low key loving seeing your watch collection. Gonna line this up as a future weekend photo project.
You're the best Omar, thanks!
Omar, great video! Thank you. Man, I really enjoy your content.
That was great! Card stock is definitely key for lighting up that steel. Awesome tips and great to see some of the collection again :)
Awesome video Omar. Feel free to continue to create content like this :)
Great taste in watches 👏👏👏
Seiko SKX007 😍
SARB033 😍
That Islander 😍
Awesome, Omar! Very interesting and informative. You've done a great job!
Great video Omar. We need more of these. And stop selling yourself short. I do product photography and everything you've stated is part of the journey. Good job.
" from a land far far away" ...ha ha...cracked me up !
Thanks Omar, great topic & video
This is great. Was trying to photograph my watch for a blog post and got bored faffing about. This gave me the inspiration to try again. Thanks Omar!
Great video! Awesome content as always.
Liked. Saved. This video is a proper tutorial and for me… a real gem! ❤
Great video! Stylizing is actually something I struggle with all the time but once I figure things out, it all comes together.
Smae here. Composition in my mind varies vastly with thr shot I end up creating based on what looks good on the camera 😀 layering and color coordination works best for me.
The purple light with the green watch is definitely a style shoot for Bruce Banner! Comic Artists use colour like nobody else
Great to see you exploring other stuff to photograph, Omar. =)
Fun video! The rig set up is definitely an experiment I'll try out, and I really like your final image of alpinist green watch--it's what sold me on the product, and the assignment. Thanks for the video.

Great video again Omar. Love your collection of watches. Especially that Sarb 33. I’m gonna try a little table top shoot of my own. Thanks.

"Born and Raised" is one of the best props from your studio.
Omar, your timing is impeccable! I was planning on doing some watch photography this evening but wasn't sure where to start. Thank you for this!
For a guy that doesn't do product photography, you have quite a few beautiful watches 😃 those sarbs 😍😍😍
Man that watch collection !🔥 🔥 🔥
Great job. Must confess... had to watch once I saw the SARB 033!
Sweet video! This gave me some ideas, as I’ve really been struggling with product shots and want to get better at it!
I felt at home when i saw the euros ;-) Cool video, Omar, thanks a lot
YOU are a gem!
You said: "It's 30% camera settings & lighting, and 99% styling"... We always knew that you give your all to this channel - in fact you're doing 129%!! Keep it up :)
Guess i’ll be shooting my watches this week! Great vid.
Nice one Omar, I’ve always wanted to try product photography, this is a good primer. 👍🏻
Really cool video man! The thought process always interested me
I saw Steinhart and I immediately knew Omar is into watches.
Interesting. it’s tricky keeping out the bezel flare. Thanks.
Very fun, some great ideas

I tried it once and gave up. But now I'm motivated to try again and succeed!
I see you are a man of culture as well
Awesome video!
Nice Seikos :)
we need to see your watch collection Great video btw
Great video Omar! That app to find complimentary colors is awesome. I’m also the same way, where I can’t pre visualize the product shots, I have to just setup the image and take a bunch of photos and adjust as I go. Also your overhead rig is badass 🔥
Great idea for the overhead camera. Stealing that one

Really nice watch collection! Love yours videos! Just found you😅
very nice video. and a true video about using low budget gear.
Purple and green makes me immediately think of the hulk
For focus stacking you would need to remove the battery from the watch because of the seconds pointer
Thinking about doing shots like these for my watch collection, I have some Phillips Hue lights I’m going to use for lighting.
Your are the land far far away!!! Pffff! 😝

Goats are those who are taking this kind of photos from mobiles 😂😂

Me: Hey, he's talking about where I live! Neat!
Oohhh, are you also a BSHT-er ;)? If not, please ignore my question, I see NTH, I click 👍
With the xt4 there had been an in camera focus stack.. ;)
