You're getting pretty good with the bow. I'm practicing with the compound bow in Scum. The puppets get close enough I have to bash them and back up so I can shoot them. I'm still not very good bashing. So far I've only killed 841 puppets with a bow. At 50:38 after you said you thought you heard someone beside you did you see the dog in editing?
I picked up SCUM during winter sale, had a really hard time getting started and understanding what was going on. It's going to take some time to learn what the heck I'm doing and what I should be doing. I'm very interested in playing but it's fairly intimidating for a newb.
@@SomewhatSolo I would suggest staying away from the bunkers and especially the abandoned bunkers for a while. The abandoned bunkers have razers and Mr Brenner. Think BFZ that can't be killed. The military facilities have mechs. Police stations are a good place to get pistols and some rifles. You need screwdrivers and lockpicks or bobby pins crafted into lockpicks or a crow bar. Early game the bow is a good long ranged weapon. You can craft an improvised metal sword or there's 2 castles you can get a medieval helmet and swords. Food isn't nearly as easy as NoS but, there's crops growing around. The interactive map is really good at locating things like that. I wouldn't worry about leveling anything besides gaining fame points to buy at the trader. The developers have said there's going to be a full wipe with 1.0. Unlike NoS you can drink all the water except salt water in the ocean. Oh yeah the power plant and city on the ne corner of the map is radiated and you'll need a radiation suit from the bunker.
@@SomewhatSolo If you haven't noticed there's a lot of clothes and accessories that add storage and protection. If you make it to the factory in B1 there's 2 breaks in the wall on the north side to the left of the gate. Just inside there's a building on the right. go side the main building then the corner room on the right has lockboxes that has guns. Currently the best places to get guns without going to the bunkers is the police stations, the prison in C2 and the weapons factory in Z1. The bunker in C2 has 3 armories and a lot of weapons if you decide to try it.
Bow skills are top notch, enjoying the series, thx for all your work.
If you smoke fish it turns into jerky. It will be treated as "meat" then rather than fish, but it will last for 30 days as jerky.
